Lucienne could understand Gabriella’s fury but he wanted to find out who helped her uncle. Who in their midst was a traitor to the pack? He knew Gabriella’s uncle and aunt wouldn’t face her head-on. They were too cowardly for that and out there in the unclaimed territory, there was a huge possibility that they would run into rogues and be killed in any case. That was if they didn’t make friends with the rogues, which was another problem Lucienne had to discuss with Gabriella. To be safe, they had to up their border security. Just in case, her uncle and aunt had already made friends with someone outside of their territory that could help them. Lucienne had a feeling that they hadn’t seen the last of those two, so why chase after them when you could wait and prepare and force them to come to you?
