Chapter 54 - Angel tea.

Gabriella had been resting as much as she possibly could but could feel her strength deteriorating. They had to find the Wolf King and fast. She was still convinced that she was the only one who could care for him since she was the only one infected by his stupid demon magic! Just the thought made her furious. How could the angels allow anybody to get their hands on that kind of magic? Weren’t they supposed to protect people from it?

She got up, cringing as pain shot through the side of her body and when she had a look at the wound, she could see that the poison had spread all the way up to just under her arm and her entire leg was covered in black veins. Her time was running out fast and the angels hadn’t come back with their so-called cure yet. Making her way to the window with a lot of trouble, she looked out at the camp below. People were talking and laughing and living their lives the best they could after the fight.
