Chapter 9 My Mate Is Not An Omega

(Nikita's P.O.V.)

I didn't want my weakness to be seen by my mate.

Yes, the man who came was my mate, Alpha Trojan, who was still wearing a premium cut suit, his toned pecs still grabbing me even though they were hidden under the black shirt.

My body still hurt and I tried to stand up, but I had no strength at the moment.

"Trojan! Why are you here?" Clara immediately stuck to Trojan like a whore, Tala let out a disapproving roar, but Trojan didn't push her away as we were expecting, instead he pets her on her head.

My heart felt the sting, how could he be close to another woman in front of his mate?

"What's going on here?" Trojan didn't answer Clara's question, his eyes looked at me without any enthusiasm for the mate, he was calm, as if he didn't know me.

"It's nothing Trojan, it's chaos making Omega and we're teaching her the rules," Clara said ahead of me.

I remained silent, even though I didn't want him to claim me as his mate, it didn't mean he could help others ignore me. I was an Omega and I had no right to refuse when he claimed me as his mate, but he didn't do that, maybe he never wanted an omega as his mate and he was happy that I didn't say anything about it in front of anyone except my mother.

"Is that so?" He looked at me again, but he didn't crouch down, as if I were a pile of garbage at his feet.

I couldn't stand the insult and I stood up. I forced myself to remain calm and said coldly, "I think you'd better ask your 'MATE' Miss Clara, Alpha Trojan," I deliberately added the word, MATE.

Trojan pulled his arm away from Clara and he looked at her with a questioning look. Clara's face immediately turned pale, but she quickly changed her expression to one of pity.

"Trojan, I was just concerned about the omega's food, I wanted to add a little tasty spice to their food, but she didn't accept it. She even tried to kill me." Clara started to cry as she pointed to the scars on her body.

Yes, I still scratched her.

"Yes, Alpha Trojan, you know Ms. Clara has always been a kind woman who cares about us lower-ranking members. Nikita is not the first time she has caused trouble. Just this morning she scratched one of our other members" She pointed to the tall girl.

A bitch next to Clara immediately echoed her. Her name seems to be Cora and she is very fat, I am not discriminating against obesity, but her personality makes me have to have a bad opinion of her.

When people around me heard them say that, none of them came out to clarify for me. I knew they had fear of Clara and they were worried that they would be the next target of bullying.

At the same time, I sneered in my heart, if Trojan really believed what they said, then I would be glad of my decision.

"Nikita, do you approve of what they say?" Trojan's low voice rang out above my head, he was tall, and even though I was already tall among werewolf women, I still needed to look up to him.

I didn't like the tone of his questioning, as if I had caused the trouble.

I looked at him and said sarcastically. "What do you think? I didn't come to school to learn more skills, but to make myself look worse?"

I saw Trojan's face turn dark, he, as a powerful alpha, obviously didn't want to be ignored like that. But I couldn't accept the injustice.

Nervousness spread between us, it might scar my body again, the wolves of each pack must respect their alpha or they will be welcomed with death.

But I was not afraid, my mother had raised me to be strong, and fighting back was necessary at the right time.

After a while, when everyone thought my neck would be snapped, Trojan's words made everyone look at me like a monster.

"So, you think you were wronged." He walked towards me, his deep gaze as captivating as the sea.

Did he believe me? I looked at him in surprise.

Clara jumped out again, she gave me a fierce look as she grabbed trojan once again.

"Trojan, why would you help an Omega who made a mistake? Could the legend be true, that she is really your mate?"

The scene turned quiet all of a sudden, everyone was waiting for Trojan's answer, I felt my heart beating out of my chest, should I expect him to say yes?

Then there is no meaning for me to come here, and I don't want all the efforts I made to be in vain.

But if I were Trojan's mate, maybe everything I've suffered would disappear and I'd be standing inside a beautiful palace, waiting for everyone to come and serve me. And I only have to do one thing well, and that is to make my mate happy, as well as give birth to a cub for him.

Am I ...... Did I suppose to?

"No, she's not. My mate could never be an Omega," Trojan's chilling voice rang out as I was conflicted.

I saw Clara breathe a sigh of relief.

"My mate is definitely not an Omega," I murmured in my mind.

He could have chosen not to answer the question, but he had denied me in front of everyone.

I felt the weight return to my body and I couldn't stand it, but as an omega, I still had the ability to heal myself and my wounds had stopped bleeding. Staying here would only break my heart in two.

Clara wanted to come over and hit me, but Trojan's next words gave her no more power to do so.

"But beating each other up is not allowed inside this school, my purpose is to bring all wolves together, not for you to hurt each other, and I'm pretty sure that if there is a next time, no matter how prominent the family behind you is, your heads will be on the flagpole." Trojan finished coldly, his sharp eyes made everyone tremble, including Clara.
