Logan's POV

Three weeks have passed and Isabella was still on the sick bed. Her recovery was very slow. Gaius encouraged me that I shouldn't lose hope Isabella wasn't a werewolf. Her healing process will take longer than usual.

What was in hand was to explain things to her friend Mandy who has been frequenting my office in search of her friend.

I paused what I was doing when Frank escorted Mandy in.

“Good morning sir.” She greeted me.

“Have your seat Mandy.” I offered and she shook her head.

“I'm fine with standing.” She refused.

“I insist.” I pressed.

She sighed and took her seat,dark bags were under her eyes. She opened her mouth to talk and closed it again,she was nervous.

“You should stop going to the police station, Isabella is with me.” I finally told her.

Mandy had gone to the police station to file a missing case,and with my connections I had to stop the search.

“But she isn't picking my calls, it's not like her not to return my calls.” She retorted.
