23. Bonding Time

He was just a few centimeters away from her lips when she brought her finger in between and pushed him away.

“We’re not a real couple and nice try, Zack.” she told him, moving away.

“Oh, shoot.” He said, pretending like he was just joking around when he felt a bit hurt on the inside.

“You should leave. It’s really late. Your dad could be worried about you.” she told him.

“Oh, he knows.” He told her, getting up.

She looked at him, surprised.

“Your dad is really laid back, huh?” she asked him.

“You don’t know half of it.” he told her. “See you tomorrow.”
