22. Being Sneaky
Zack came home and told his dad what he saw.
“I told you we shouldn’t let her go. They didn’t come here for her out of guilt. They came here because they were scared of you.” Zack told him.
“Look son, I knew.” Alan told him.
“You knew, and you still sent her away?” Zack looked at him, pissed.
“It was her choice.” Alan told him.
“Well, she sure is regretting it now.” Zack said, looking away with his hands on his hips.
“She made her choice, Zack. And I’m sure she has a plan of her own.” Alan told him.
“And that is to get bullied by her parents?” he asked sarcastically.
