The three were now sitting at a table on the rooftop.

“So, you’re a witch?” Lillian asked her.

“Yes.” Olivia replied.

“So… is it a coincidence that we met at the hospital and the dorms?” she asked her.

“The hospital was a coincidence. The dorm mmm… not really.” Olivia told her.

“Why are you following me, then?” she asked her.

“She said that my kind killed your birth parents and you’re in danger.” he answered her instead of Olivia.

“What do you mean? My dad was killed by a wolf. I remember that.” She told them, not believing what she just heard.

“No, they were your adoptive parents. I know that because I was the one who helped your birth mother deliver you. And at her request, I left you in the care of humans that I thought would be best for you.” Olivia told her.
