He went to the living room unwillingly. Louve was sitting on the couch, eating the biscuits that Lillian had left out for her.

When she saw him coming toward her. She looked up at him and smiled.

“Sit down. Let’s have a talk while she’s getting ready.” Louve told her.

He nodded at her with a smile and tried not to seem awkward around her. He took his place in front of her and looked at her.

“What do you want to talk about?” he asked her.

“Nothing much. Just about you. I want to get to know you better.” she told him and then in a lower voice she told him. “I should know a little about my soon-to-be son-in-law.”

Shadow smiled back at her. He was relieved that she didn’t oppose him marrying her as well. He knew that Drake must’ve told her last night when they left.

“Do you agree then?” he asked her, even though he already knew the answer.

“If you promise to keep her happy, I don’t see why not.” She told her. “Plus, you’re a superb cook.”
