Unknown POV

“ She lost her powers, Father, and now she has them back, I don't know how possible that is, that is all I can say for now”

We were seated in my little beast room which was lit with candles while she sat in the middle chanting , the air thick with the smell of incense, as if she could summon her powers at will from anywhere within our small sanctuary. The old wood panelled walls seemed to creak and groan with the vibrations as she kept repeating the same phrase over and over. As I watched, a spider fell to its death from a high beam above us. It didn' t even take five seconds until the floor began to quiver. I tried not to let it bother me. The candle flames danced around the room as I stared through the crack on the door at the dark figure kneeling before me. Her eyes shone red like embers as they glowed brightly under the flickering lights.

I loved every bit of it. My daughter wasn't a tribrid, just a hybrid and she possessed these powers, I couldn't wait to get my hands
