⭐Aria POV⭐

Kaden lunged at me, but I didn’t flinch or step back. Instead, I yanked my arm back and slammed my fist into his face—hard. Just like how I practiced before.

His nose crunched beneath my knuckles, a sickening crack echoing in the stone chamber. Blood gushed instantly.

“AHHH!” he cried out, staggering backward, clutching his face.

“Stay the fuck away from me,” I snarled at the two of them, the fury in my voice cutting like a blade.

The witch only smirked: “Looks like you’ve changed since the last time I saw you.Silver”

I didn’t dignify her with a response. The word Silver used to annoy me before but now it was Who I am. My eyes were locked on Kaden.

He dropped his hand from his bloodied face, grabbed his broken nose, and—

Crack.

—snapped it back into place with brutal nonchalance. Well, of course it wasn’t his body.

I cringed, the sound making my stomach twist.

“What do you want from me?” I demanded, keeping my stance steady. I wouldn’t go down easily.

“Nothing,” Kaden

⭐ Klaus POV ⭐I pushed the door open and stepped inside.CREAAAAKKKThe air in the temple was thick, colder than I remembered. Shadows clung to the cracked stone walls like old memories, and silence draped itself over the space with unsettling familiarity. It was just as it had been the last time Aria and I came here—searching for answers we wanted to find. But this time, the air was different. Heavier. Tainted. The kind of silence that screamed just before hell broke loose.“Be careful,” I warned the others, my voice low but commanding. “This witch likes to play mind games. She makes you see things—feel things. She’ll drag your worst fear to the surface and force you to drown in it.”No one replied. They knew better than to underestimate this place. We moved together, quiet and sharp, like a single entity. Each of us alert, each of us ready for a fight. Our footsteps echoed through the long corridor as we approached the main hall. The ancient stone beneath our feet pulsed faintly wit

⭐ Aria POV ⭐I had fallen asleep. Somehow, despite the ache, and the waiting—I had drifted off, curled on the old mattress like a child clinging to a fading dream. And when I opened my eyes again…It wasn’t darkness that greeted me.It was the sunlight.Golden rays spilled across my face, warming my skin like a soft whisper. Dust motes floated lazily in the warm air, dancing with the gentle breeze that rustled the wildflowers around me. The scent of earth and fresh grass filled my lungs—a sharp contrast to the stale, damp air of the chamber I had been trapped in.I blinked, slowly rising to my feet. The stone walls were gone. The damp cold of the chamber—gone.I was in the meadow. The meadow. The place that had witnessed the beginning of everything. The night Klaus and I gave in to everything we’d been holding back. The night we truly became one.The wildflowers swayed in the breeze, the grass brushing softly against my bare ankles, and ahead—The waterfall. Its roar was gentle now, l

⭐Aria POV⭐The tip of the dagger fell fast—too fast.I saw it descending like death made solid, cutting through the air with a whistle of finality. It was aimed straight for my heart… or worse, for the life growing inside me.Instinct took over.My hand flew to my stomach, shielding the only pure thing left in this nightmare. My other arm raised to fight—to claw, to grab, to survive. But before I could touch her—before I could stop her—The dagger froze.Suspended. Inches from my chest. My breath caught. I looked at her wondering why she stopped. The witch’s brows furrowed, her hand trembling around the weapon that should have already cut me open. Her eyes darted sideways, confused. Alarmed. She wasn’t alone.Kaden, too.He was standing behind her, and for the first time since I woke up in this hell…They looked scared. Truly, deeply scared. His eyes darted around the chamber, suddenly alert—as if the air itself had shifted. The witch stiffened, her breath hitching. They both felt it.

⭐Aria POV⭐I thought he was gone. I thought all of them were no longer in my life.I thought I’d buried the memory of that night deep enough to never face it —never face any of them again. But life had a cruel way of tearing open wounds you thought had scarred over.I stood frozen, breath caught in my throat, eyes fixed on the shadow that emerged from the far end of the temple chamber. The warm, flickering light from the torches danced against the stone, casting his features in and out of view—but it was enough.Enough to recognize him.Enough to make my blood run cold.My mind struggled to catch up, confusion clouding every thought.
