Chapter 28

Mira opened the door slightly, listening for any sign of Cohen still in the cabin. Then, she heard the sound of soft snore coming from the living room indicating he was already asleep. She walked silently to the living room, checking for him. Mira grabbed a blanket from the cupboard and used it to cover the Alpha who was sleeping soundly on the couch. She added a few more firewood into the fireplace, keeping the fire alive. Werewolves didn’t need fire to keep themselves warm. Their own body temperature was warm enough to keep them warm even if they were in a snowy area. But like her, warm did make them feel normal.
