Ch. 41 - Outsmarted Pt. 3

Aláine's Point of View

"Arghh!" exclaimed Kristof clasping at his chest where the dagger was embedded.

"No! Kristof!" I screamed as I struggled against Olivier's grip.

"Silver, Wolf-born," his opponent crowed with glee. "It will poison your body, weakening you, and your mate can watch you die."

Before my eyes, Kristof started to change shape. White hair began sprouting from his skin. His hands elongated and became dangerous looking claws. I could hear his bones snap and break, moulding themselves into a new form, taller and broader than his human aspect. His ears became pointed into wolf's ears, and his face contorted. The jaw and nose area pushed forward, remaking themselves into a snout.

Finally, his teeth elongated, becoming fangs. In a mere 30 seconds, Kristof had transformed into a magnificent white Lycan with the same gold-tipped fur, standing well over two metres in height.
