*VENUS's POV*

After we got back to the Pack Territory, it was still funny how they just fell down on the gate in exhaustion. They were grumbling something, but I was too unbothered to understand any of it. I didn't mind them and headed straight to my place.

I'm starving.

Once I was in the kitchen area. That's when I realized that Alpha Derek was living independently for some reason, so there was no one but me who'd cook for myself.

It's not a problem anyway.

I wore the apron and wrapped it around my body. Then I prepared the cooking materials as well as the ingredients before lying them down on the table. That's when i sensed someone coming near me, a familiar scent, and how angry the footsteps were, similar to only one person in this world.

It's him.

"You got back early." He says in a low menacing voice upon entering.

I sheepishly smiled. "Alpha Derek, I'm cooking lunch. Do you wanna jo
