Chapter 18

As always, as soon as the sun rises, my eyes shot open. I wasn't even surprised anymore that i had woken up even before the alarm clock rang.

6 am.

I got up quickly and prepared to head to the training grounds. It was my first day as beta after all. But when I arrived at the location, i was surprised to see no one present but Easton.

"Looks like your squad doesn't like you." Alpha Derek says, appearing from behind.

I furrowed my eyebrows and turned to him, "They're kids. And they don't wake up this early anyway."

"They're not stupid. Since I appointed you as Beta, they should know pack training is as early as 6 am. If this is how you're getting treated by your squad. They you'd better work hard to earn their loyalty huh?"

"You're not gonna help me?"

"It's your squad. Solve it on your own." He then leaves.

I sighed. Much as I hate to admit it, it's obvious that they don't approve of me being the beta. At the corner, E
