Chapter 1

On my wedding day, my fiance chose to hold the bonding ceremony with another Omega, humiliating me publicly. I decided it was time to reveal my true identity and make them prisoners.

Following his familiar scent, I arrived at the magnificent Shrine of the Moon Goddess. I had poured my entire fortune into building it for him when we first confirmed our relationship, intending for it to be a sacred venue for our future wedding.

At the entrance stood a giant wedding poster that burned into my eyes.

"Congratulations to the Newlyweds: Alpha Ethan Alexander & Lilith Bennett."

On the poster, Ethan wore an exquisite Alpha ceremonial robe, and he was smiling brightly. The woman nestled in his arms wasn't me, though I was supposed to form a mate bond with him today. Instead, it was Lilith Bennett, his Omega assistant, who had earlier claimed she had urgent business.

It hit me all at once.

No wonder Ethan had previously told me that, as an Alpha burdened daily with pack affairs, he was exhausted by grand, superficial ceremonies and wished for a simple wedding under the peaceful moonlight.

Therefore, I agreed to receive blessings at the shrine and accepted a private wedding in the forest that was just between us.

Only now did I realize that the sacred rituals, the ceremonial robes, and even the Moon Goddess' blessing were prepared for someone else.

Before entering the shrine, I discreetly sent a command via my phone. Then, while blending in with the other guests, I found a quiet spot and sat down without drawing attention to myself.

Under the presiding elder's guidance, Lilith's father, Kayden Bennett, escorted her down the aisle strewn with glowing petals. They eventually stopped right beside me.

Ethan, who claimed he had urgent matters to handle, solemnly approached from the opposite end, extending his hand toward Lilith.

Just as Kayden handed Lilith over and the couple was about to join hands, I suddenly kicked Ethan hard in the leg.

Ethan lost his balance and stumbled forward, landing face-first on the ground. Lilith fell with him. Her bouquet flew out of her hands, and her flower crown slipped off.

Lying at my feet, Ethan almost cursed aloud until he looked up and saw me. In that instant, the blood drained from his face.

Lilith desperately called his name, but Ethan remained petrified, not even daring to glance her way.

I stared coldly down at Ethan, who was still struggling to get up. I asked in a chilling tone, "What's wrong? Did you panic and trip? Or did you just realize you forgot to send me an invitation?"

Hearing my voice, Lilith turned toward me in disbelief. Her face instantly drained of color. Instinctively, she tried hiding behind Ethan but was abruptly yanked back by Kayden.

Kayden aggressively pointed at me, deliberately shouting loud enough for the entire shrine to hear.

"You shameless woman! You just won't quit, will you? I already kicked you out by the shrine. How did you even get back in here?"

Immediately, everyone's eyes were on me.

"No wonder she looks so seductive. She's just a slut trying to take someone else's man."

"Alpha Ethan is the most honorable man in our pack, and his heart belongs to Lilith. Anyone who tries to throw themselves at him is just embarrassing themselves."

"They grew up together and pledged their lives to each other before the Moon Goddess when they were 18 years old. The moment Ethan awakened his Alpha strength, he brought Lilith to his side and made her a pack administrator. Who do you think you are? How dare you try to come between them with your lowborn blood?"

So, they grew up together and pledged their lives to each other. Well, well... How romantic.

I nodded slowly as realization sank in.

Ethan pursued me relentlessly since the day he came of age. After three years of persistence, I finally gave in, accepting him as my mate.

But now, on what should have been our wedding day, I discovered I'd unknowingly played the role of the other woman for three years.

If Ethan and Lilith truly loved each other, why had he pursued me?

The answer was painfully clear. I was the only daughter of the Werewolf Alliance leader, with a superior bloodline and wealth beyond measure.

Very well, then.

I kicked Ethan again as he still lay stunned.

"Do you also believe I interfered between you two?"

Guilt filled Ethan's face as he desperately shook his head.

Just as he opened his mouth to explain, Lilith rushed forward while screaming, "Ethan! Are you alright?"

She clung to him tightly, wildly signaling to him with her eyes. After their silent exchange, Ethan calmed down. A calculated gleam flashed in his eyes.

Seeing their Alpha get attacked, the entire audience filled with indignation.

"How dare you kick him, you whore?" A burly man raised his arm, ready to punch me.

"Wait," Ethan interrupted, regaining his confidence. "Elizabeth, I've rejected you time and time again, and I've made it clear that my heart belongs to someone else. Today is my sacred union with Lilith, with the Moon Goddess as our witness. As Alpha, I won't allow anyone to disrupt what I've prepared for my Luna. Leave now, or I'll have the pack warriors escort you out."

I met his gaze while smirking coldly.

"Ethan, did you forget who financed this shrine? What gives you the right to kick me out? Or do you believe your dirty little secrets will stay hidden once I'm gone?"

Lilith stepped forward, holding Ethan's hand.

"Elizabeth, I know you've always had feelings for Ethan. It must be painful seeing us together. But he's always loved me. You can't force love. We're about to complete our bonding ceremony. I hope you won't cause any more trouble for him."

Honestly, I wasn't entirely surprised by Ethan and Lilith's affair.

Sensing their suspicious behavior, I had already decided to take back everything I had invested in the Moonveil Pack, which I had built and expanded with my resources and connections.

Ethan was still completely unaware.

I had hesitated, afraid I might be going too far, and wanted to give him one last chance. But clearly, I'd been far too kind.

Just as I was about to throw the legal documents transferring the pack's ownership back in his face, Kayden suddenly raised his voice. "Oh, now I remember! You're that assistant Lilith mentioned, the one who was scheming to seduce Ethan!"

I had fulfilled my promise. I left Ethan with nothing and reclaimed everything I had ever given him.Two weeks later, the Alliance Court convened. I didn't even need to show up in person since Silas was representing me.The Supreme Court fell silent as the chief elder's authoritative voice echoed solemnly."The defendant, Ethan Alexander, deliberately deceived Elizabeth Carter through a false relationship, illegally obtaining substantial financial resources. He misused his administrative position, embezzled pack assets on a massive scale, and maliciously permitted violence against Elizabeth at the crime scene. The crimes are severe."Pausing briefly, he scanned the defendants sharply."For these crimes, Ethan Alexander is sentenced to 12 years of imprisonment. He will be stripped of his Alpha title and will be exiled as a rogue wolf in seven days."Ethan collapsed onto the stand. His face was completely drained of color.Lilith whipped around to stare at him. Her lips were tremb

The giant electronic screen switched to a detailed personal profile."Elizabeth Carter, daughter of Adrian Carter, Leader of the Werewolf Alliance, graduated with honors from the world's top Werewolf Academy. She is the only rightful heir to the Alliance."At that moment, the screen began displaying footage of me representing the Alliance at various important pack summits. It also showed a photo of my mother, the High Priestess of the Moon Goddess Sanctuary, with her arm around my shoulders, smiling warmly beside me at the Moon Goddess' crowning ceremony.Shock rippled through the entire hall. Those same guests who'd called me a "tramp", and an "assistant", and even accused me of selling myself, now went deathly pale. Many collapsed onto the ground, their legs giving out beneath them."She... She really is the Alliance leader's daughter?""Oh my God, we've offended someone incredibly powerful!""Will we go to jail? Are we going to be executed?"Lilith was the first to snap out

The sudden chaos plunged everyone into stunned silence.Victor Kavanagh, my father's Beta, sprinted forward and viciously kicked away the men around me. He sent them flying several feet into the ceremonial altar.Immediately, two female warriors lifted me to my feet, wrapping me protectively in an ornate coat bearing our family crest.Ethan's face twisted in fury as he finally snapped out of his shock. He glared at Victor. "Are you insane? I'm the Alpha of Moonveil Pack! I'm the one who summoned you here! Are you fools so stupid that you can't recognize your own Alpha?"Marcus shouted desperately, "Guards! Kick these troublemakers out!"But the shrine guards didn't move an inch. Instead, they deliberately stepped back and silently watched the chaos unfold.Marcus nearly exploded. "Did you not hear my order? How dare you ignore me!"At that moment, rhythmic, powerful footsteps approached. My father's chief advisors and the pack's elders marched solemnly into the shrine.Ethan's

A familiar figure appeared at the entrance. It was Marcus Bush, the administrator of the shrine.A faint glimmer of hope rose in my heart.Marcus had served under my father and practically watched me grow up.When I'd first built this shrine, my father even asked Marcus specifically to keep an eye on me. Marcus had once sworn his loyalty to me and pledged his life to me.Now, seeing me pinned down and humiliated, Marcus' face went deathly pale. Even his voice cracked with fear as he asked, "What on earth is going on here?"Kayden quickly cut in. "Mr. Bush, this woman caused trouble at Alpha Ethan's wedding. Everyone here is just helping the Alpha teach her a lesson. If you don't believe me, ask Alpha Ethan himself."Ethan stiffly nodded in reluctant agreement.Marcus' expression twisted with conflict. His eyes darted uncertainly between me and Ethan. After a tense pause, he seemed to make up his mind, clenching his jaw as he slowly stepped backward toward the entrance."She in

For a moment, Ethan froze, taken aback by my wrath. After hearing what I said, whispers immediately spread among the guests."Did you hear her? She just claimed she's been dating Alpha Ethan for three years and that today was supposed to be their wedding. She even said that she built this shrine for him. Do you think any of that's true?""Obviously not. Anyone can brag. We've all watched Ethan grow up. We know his character better than anyone.""She said she built the shrine? Might as well say she owns the whole Moonveil Pack too!"At that moment, a soft voice spoke up. "But I saw her dress in a magazine once. It was from a really expensive designer brand. I've never even seen Lilith wear something like that."Lilith immediately shot the woman a furious glare."What do you even know about fashion? We're neighbors, and yet you're siding with her?"The woman flinched and quickly went silent.Satisfied, Ethan looked away and grabbed Lilith's hand, lifting it high to display their

I almost burst out laughing at Kayden's remark. I tapped Ethan's foot with the tip of my shoe."Have you forgotten who I am? Do you really think I'd ever need to be your assistant? Does your father-in-law not even know what position his daughter holds in the pack?"Before I finished speaking, a man sitting nearby spat popcorn kernels right into my face. The entire crowd burst into laughter."You're trying to cling to him, but you don't even know who he is? He's not just anyone. He's the Alpha who rules over vast territories, with wealth beyond anything you can imagine. He commands thousands of pack warriors and owns more mansions and luxury cars than you can count. And this grand shrine? It belongs to Alpha Ethan!"And Lilith? She's no ordinary administrator. She's managed the pack's daily operations and closed several major deals, strengthening the Moonveil Pack many times over in a short span of time!"Wait, what? Lilith managed the pack, closed business deals, and helped stren
