She is infuriating. If I hadn’t left the room, I may have done something that I would have spent my life regretting.

I leave the door unlocked and walk away. If she wanted to run, she could try but I guarantee she won’t make it out of the house before I find her.

“Going well?” Stevens asks with a raised brow as I head downstairs. He is sitting in the chair outside my office.

“Are you waiting for me?”

“There have been some requests made by the warriors.” He holds up a notebook. “Just want to run them past you.”

He follows me into the office and starts to close the door. “Leave it open.” If Willow was going to try and make a run for it, I was going to make it as difficult as possible.

“She really puts you in a bad mood, doesn’t she?” He smirks at me

“It’s the attitude.”

“I would never have guessed.” He laughs to himself.

“She smashed a window.” I mutter, “and threatened to jump. She didn’t even react when the glass was cutting into her feet, and she was purposely standing on it.
