I can’t help but scratch my head at how unpredictable she was. Where are we going when I only just woke up? Not only do I stink, I probably smell like alcohol, morning breath and I probably smell like a wet dog. Even my clothes smell because I’ve been wearing them all day yesterday.

"We're leaving? Huh? Where to? Aren’t you on house arrest since your father is still looking for us —"

Ahbaya looked at me and shook her head in disappointment, cutting off my litanny.

She clicked her tongue and leaned closer only to pat me on the cheeks like a wounded dog. "Didn't you understand? Maybe your brain is still asleep." She even pointed at the luxurious watch nailed on the top of the wall. “Maybe the coffee is not enough?”

Again with the insults. If I understood her, would I be asking the questions then? Of course not. “Your highness, if I understood you, would I be asking?” I answered a bit more politely than what I expected. “Besides... Where are we going?"
