The day went by in a flash. It wasn’t because the day was short, I started early enough, but there was so much to do and so little time. My duties were becoming heavier and I started to get busier. It hurt me that I could only spend little time with Athena now, but I made up for it with video calls. It wasn’t enough, at least I couldn’t compare it to being with her physically, holding her and feeling the sparks between us, but it’d have to do.

“Aren’t you leaving to soon?” Damian asked as I snuck out of Athena’s room at the break of dawn. I placed a hand across my mouth signaling him to be quieter, I didn’t want to disturb her sleep. “You arrived when she had already gone to bed.” He finished.
