PHILLIP'S OPENNES AND GUILTY

Phillip couldn't help but notice how much Luna resembled his previous mate, Claire, as they strolled. Her perfume was distinct, but there was something about her that touched his heart. He had a secret crush on her. She made him feel more connected to her and wanted to be near her all the time. He pushed the thought aside, knowing that he couldn't let his feelings interfere with his responsibility to protect his pack.

Phillip introduced Luna to his Beta, Jason, and Gamma, Emily, as they arrived at the pack's territory. They were gracious to her, welcoming her into the pack and promising to provide her with whatever she wanted.

Phillip observed Luna's integration into the pack over the next few weeks. She was cautious and quiet, yet she had a fire in her eyes that showed her resolve to succeed and demonstrate herself as a worthy member of the pack. She worked tirelessly to make sure everything in the pack works properly. She managed the youth training and they were happy to learn. She managed to conquer their hearts and be accepted everywhere.

Phillip noticed himself pulled to Luna and couldn't help but feel uncomfortable about it. He'd lost Claire years before because of his faults and irresponsible behavior, and he'd spent the time since then trying to make amends and develop into a better leader for his pack. He thought of exploring his love with Luna but was too early to express it to her.

However, the more time he worked with Luna, the brighter he saw her. She had some distinct qualities from other females, she was powerful and capable, and she was fiercely loyal to the people she loved. He started viewing her as Claire, his mate. Whenever he met her, he thought of his mate, Claire. Delusions started to hunt him whenever he slept, he saw her in a dream and wished to kiss her and mark her. He wished to avoid her and concentrate on his duties but he was drawn to her daily.

One day as they were patrolling the territory's borders, he became opening up to Luna about his previous misdeeds and the guilt he carried with him together. He has never told anyone about this but surprisingly he felt the need to repent to Luna.

Phillip was the most powerful, fearful, and aggressive pack Alpha, he didn’t listen to any member of the pack even his mate. He maintained his dominance through intimidation and violence, and whoever went against him was punished severely. He created fear in the pack members and didn’t allow any criticism. The pack members felt alienated and neglected their needs emotionally and physically. They had nowhere to express their desires.

Ruled through fear and aggression, he scared every member of his pack including his mate, Claire. She felt suppressed and resentful. Power came over his head and wasn’t able to make a sound judgment. Nobody could advise him on anything. He lost the trust and loyalty of his members. He was too controlling while micromanaging every aspect of the pack and mate's life, leading to a lack of autonomy and independence within the pack. This was very suffocating and frustrating for those under his rule. They lost confidence and loyalty in his leadership and his subordinates.

There were rumors of an attack on his pack from the nearby rival packs. They were all united to destroy him.  Some of his members got information about it and wanted to discuss with him how to prepare themselves for the attack. Since he was obsessed with power and status, he didn’t prioritize his members’ opinions and concerns. His biased emotions clouded his judgments, assumed himself to be the most powerful alpha with skilled warriors. He ended up making reckless decisions of entering into war without preparations and failed to consider the consequences to his community. The attack cost half of his members’ lives as well as his mate. He underestimated the strength of the rival packs and their allies.

That scenario taunted him, and he regretted what he did. He mourned for his mate and other members who died out of his carelessness. Every time he remembered his mate reminded him of his irresponsible behaviors and actions. He promised to change and put his members’ needs and concerns ahead of his priority, to make up for the damage he had caused. He put a lot of energy to reshuffle into a better leader and rebuild the pack.

Luna listened intently, and when he was through, she rested her hand on his shoulder.

"I do trust you, Alpha Phillip," she said. "You're an excellent Alpha. You've demonstrated it to me." Phillip felt so emotional that he got someone who can understand him. He felt as if a huge burden has been lifted off his heart. He thanked Luna for understanding him, he hugged her

After talking to Luna, Phillip walked through the woodland to patrol the pack border, his senses on high alert. He then spotted a hint of movement out of the side of his sight. He turned quickly, his muscles stiffened and ready for action.

He decided to follow the area where he caught the movement. As he got closer, he noticed a lone wolf, a member of a rival group from the Redwood pack. Phillip could tell the wolf had been in a fight since it was damaged, appeared bruised, and coated with dry blood. He paused for a time, weighing his options. On the one hand, he might easily kill the wolf and remove a potential threat from his pack. On the other side, he may be merciful and assist the injured wolf.

Phillip eventually chose to assist the wolf. He approached it with caution, his eyes searching for signs of violence. The wolf's eyes were filled with dread and pain as it stared up at him. Phillip carefully extended his hand in the hope of comforting the hurt animal.

The wolf, to his astonishment, did not attack him. Instead, it enabled him to approach and assist it. Phillip used his healing talents to hasten the healing of the wolf's wounds. When he was finished, the wolf looked up at him with grateful eyes.

Phillip couldn't stop thinking about what had just occurred as he made his way back to the pack with the injured wolf. He'd always been a vicious Alpha, eager to punish anyone who posed a threat to his pack. Yet he was starting to view things differently now. Perhaps there was a better way for him to lead his pack, one that did not entail violence and bloodshed.

He began to appreciate the new side of himself. He was happy that he had started to act reasonably and consider others’ needs and safety.

On the way to his pack, he met a group of three rogues. They were looking for the lone werewolf. The lone werewolf runs away from them and hides in Phillips’s pack. After knowing their intention Phillip growled loud and prepared himself for the fight. He left the lone wolf with Luna and charged rapidly to their side.

They were not prepared for the fight; he caught them off guard. He inserted his jaws into one of the rogue necks which fell dead, the rest encircled Alpha Phillip and tried to fight him back, He attacked one of them and injured his leg. He tried to stand up and walk but failed, he laid down and surrendered. Due to Alpha’s strength, the remained rogue got scared and run away. Phillip mind-linked Zayn and asked him to send the rogue dead body out of their pack and locked the other rogue in their torture room.
