Chapter 17: My Final Training

PRESENT DAY: ONE DAY BEFORE THE ARENA GAMES.

I had been pushing the limits of my training with my father for some days now. My motivation was my parents' honour, I wanted to make them proud at the Arena games and take my rightful place as a Beta amongst the pack. I am sure after I did, I would finally earn the trust and respect of Alpha Merrick and with that my shunning would come to an end in the pack.

I still hadn't been able to transform into my werewolf on my birthday today, as I turned eighteen. Naturally there were THREE WAYS for a werewolf to have the ability to transform to their werewolf form. The first two were common knowledge but the third and final one was reserved until you grew older to learn about it.

The three ways of transforming into a werewolf was by (1) entering into your teenage years and gaining the ability to transform into your werewolf. (2) entering your eighteenth birthday and having the ability to transform into your werewolf and (3) transforming int
