Sebastian’s pov

The two idiots in front of us didn't have a clue, but I could sense it.

Beneath her polite smile was a simmering rage waiting to build up, I could tell because of the time we had to spend together and also because I reflected the same rage yet I had gained better control of it.

I dropped the plate in my hand, and reached for her waist with both hands.

We had already met them, that was enough for tonight.

“I think that can be a story for another meeting, what do you say to an invitation to dinner?”

Damien, that rotten fool, grinned from one ear right to the other.

“We would be honored, right baby?” He turned to his mate who looked just as excited.

I nodded and pulled Astrid away, taking her outside to the garden of my mansion the light of the moon shone overhead.

“You're doing it again..” she said, pulling out of my touch.

“Doing what?” I asked if I had meant for it to be light-hearted but it sounded almost accusatory. I don't know why.

She moved ahead then stopped
