Elena’s pov.

I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t move. I just stood frozen, staring at whose hands were still on my breast.

His hand twisted as if he is folding it and I could feel him feeling my breast with his hand and gulping. What the fuck! What kind of pervert is this?

I quickly moved my body and pushed myself away from him! “What the fuck!” I cursed in anger.

I used both of my hands to shield my breast from him like armor. I hated the fact that I could feel the burn of his hand on the spot.

“I am so sorry Elena, I didn’t mean to..to..”I cut him in annoyance.

“What are you doing here? Are you following me around now?”

His eyes widened, like he hadn’t expected my fury. “No! I….It’s not like that.”

“Then why are you here? Huh?” I pressed, my hands still clamped over my chest, “Why?”

He ran his fingers through his hair nervously, “I went to your room to bring you dinner but you weren't there. The maids said they say you came to the library, so I came to check,” he finish

Dominic’s POV. I stood at the balcony of my office, staring at my pack and people’s movements. My mind was clearly lost in thought. I have always wanted Elena, and I still do. Even when I rejected her for Clara, my mate, my love for her never stopped for a day. However, her so‑called fiancé’s scent never made me stop wondering what was going on. He scented not just as a normal werewolf but as one with lots of history. One from the ……. pack. Although, I might be wrong, since his scent was so faint an ordinary wolf couldn’t perceive it. I scoffed, wondering what had made Elena fall for him. He was good‑looking, no doubt, but there was something about him I did not like. Something that rubbed against my instincts the wrong way. I tightened my grip on the cold railing, my gaze sweeping over the pack grounds below. “What are you staring at?” a voice from behind said, breaking my thoughts. I turned to look at Elena standing behind me with sorrowful eyes. I knew Adrian had clearly p

Hailey’s countenance changed as soon as I made that statement. Her playful ease vanished and was replaced by unease, maybe even fear. She opened her mouth as if to speak, then closed it again, her fingers curled tightly at her sides. “Caroline,” she said slowly, “you need to be careful with the things you say.” I raised a brow, amused. “Careful? Since when did words frighten you?” “They don’t,” she replied quickly. “Consequences do.” I scoffed, turning toward the door. “You worry too much. You need to relax, girl. Elena is far away, too far to hear that her human fiancé is a werewolf, and also that said fiancé is your fated mate.” “I know, okay, I know that. But still, you need to be careful. I don't want her finding out, at least not from us.” Hailey exhaled shakily, rubbing her palms together as if trying to wipe away her nerves. “Hailey, what are you talking about? You don't want Elena to know about this? That her fiancé rejected you for her? Are you out of your fuc

Monica’s POVI turned twenty-three days ago.In our world, that number meant everything. By eighteen, most wolves had already scented their mates. By twenty, you were either bonded… or whispered about.I was neither. For two years now, ever since I crossed eighteen, I have waited—watched, hoped, and listened for the pull everyone said was impossible to miss. The spark, and the mate bond.…And now my father, Alpha Rowan Hale, had made a decision that would change everything. He wanted me to leave the pack. Not as an exile, not as punishment—but as preparation. As the future Alpha of Silvermoon, I could not rule from ignorance. I could not protect what I did not understand. He believed I needed to see the world beyond our borders, to understand how other packs lived, ruled, and survived.…And now my father, Alpha Rowan Hale, had made a decision that would change everything. He wanted me to leave the pack. Not as an exile, not as punishment—but as preparation. Adrian’s POV It has been a week since Elena disappeared. Despite the improving call that I got from my uncle, I refused to go look for her, hoping and believing that she wouldn’t abandon her precious children for too long. These triplets also mean everything to me. I sighed as I placed a hand on Lisa’s forehead. She has a fever. She has been feeling unwell for the past few days, crying for her mum. What do I do now? Going to the pack to look for her would put me in a very dangerous place. All my life, I have tried to hide my biggest identity. Going back to reopen old wounds isn’t something I would love to ever experience. I am so comfortable in the human world. However, the children need me more. I slowly began to pack my bags. The Drogomor pack is at the outskirts of New York City, where I stay, and I needed to get there as soon as possible. I hurriedly packed there. I slowly began to pack my bags, booked a flight, and in no time, I was already at the pack. The air felt so d

My chest tightened painfully.“What do you mean… he’s here?” I asked again, even though the answer was already settling heavily in my bones.Dominic rose to his feet, his movements calm but purposeful. “Within the territory,” he repeated. “I had him escorted to the holding wing. I’ll bring him in now.”He took a step toward the door, then paused.“But Lena, baby,” he added, turning back to me, his voice lowering, gentler this time. “I don’t want you believing everything he says. I’m not turning you against your fiancé—but you need to be watchful.”I nodded slowly, my throat tightening as the truth pressed in on me. It was hard to believe—harder than anything I’d ever faced. The man I loved, the man I planned a future with, wasn’t who I thought he was at all.I had been living with a stranger all along.Dominic studied me for a moment, as if weighing whether I was strong enough for what came next. Then he turned and opened the door.“Bring him in,” he ordered quietly to the guard outsi
