MasukDo you think she should give Leo a chance? Thoughts my lovelies? ^^ Much love, Larose Semsem
Leo's pov: When was the last time I woke up this fresh and clear-headed?With Yuri nestled in my arms, I could only feel fulfilled. The woman could be problematic, had quite the attitude, but was really a blessing in disguise. I found myself contemplating life with her from here on. I found myself looking at her as she slept, as if I were some creep who couldn't get enough of her.Having blocked all mind-links, I wasn't surprised when my phone rang from across the room, where I had thrown it yesterday. It wasn't even 7 a.m., according to my wristwatch, but oh well... It took all of my willpower to physically move away from my mate. And yet, it had to be done, for I didn't want my phone to keep ringing and wake her. I also knew that, as the Alpha of the pack, I had obligations that needed to be met.Elder Jace went off on me the moment I answered the call."Alpha Leo, good day to you! Good day to you and bad day to all of us, worrying about the future of the pack, your future Luna, an
Yuri’s pov: My confidence was off the charts right at that moment. Feeling cherished, desired, and possibly loved by my Alpha mate, Leo freaking Phillips, was enchanting, mesmerizing, and almost more than I had ever hoped for.Agreeing for this to happen, while we were both sober, with no heat, rut, or drug in the mix was dangerous. It was like admitting that I had never longed for anything else, that I had never wanted anyone else.Sure, I knew there would be no going back from this. But I also knew Leo could use my feelings against me. He had done so in my previous life. But then again, back then, he had been blind to a fault when it came to Aurora.I was given a chance to right our wrongs. I was given a second chance… and it was time to embrace these feelings which seemed endless, this mate bond which felt unshakable. “Take me and make me yours,” I whispered even as he hovered, his length getting coated in my slick while he positioned himself.“I thought you’d never ask,” he gave
Yuri’s POV: The phone kept ringing even as I took him in my mouth. And although grunting, Leo took the call.I couldn't hear what he was being told, because I was focused on getting him off, but I could hear him say punctually sure, yes, and no from time to time, with the occasional grunt that might have given away the nature of our activities. The moment I took his whole length in my mouth, or at least what I could take of him, he made a strangled sound before saying, “I’mma have to call you… back.”With that, he must have hung up, for he then tossed his phone aside, grabbed a fistful of my hair and pulled ever so slightly, not enough to hurt but enough that I was only sucking on the head, “You little vi*xen!” He growled the words out like a man possessed. To be totally honest, I loved that look on him – untamed, uncontrolled, and so completely out of character – and I found myself releasing his head with a popping sound and smirking up at him.“And what did I do now?” I let out t
Yuri’s pov: I couldn’t believe the words that had just left Leo’s mouth. To claim he was not giving up on me in such a setting was already worrisome, and I struggled out of his embrace and to get off his lap. He didn’t let me. “What’s wrong, kitten?” He asked, his eyes boring into mine with an intensity that was almost frightening. “What’s wrong is your inability to keep your hands to yourself,” I all but growled the words out. Before he could respond, I went on, “What’s wrong is your inability to remain neutral, and how your bias affected and continues to affect me.” “It was never my intention to hurt you,” he pleaded, his eyes so intently focused on mine, I could only look away. “Actions speak louder than words, Alpha Phillips,” I told him flippantly. “And that’s why I am here right now, aren’t I?” He grabbed my chin gently, and made me look at him. His face was close. Our noses were almost touching. And as his breath fanned my face, a shudder wrecked through me. I would hav
Leo’s pov: Jackson was shadowing Yuri rather discreetly, all while under the pretense that they were growing tighter as friends. I would be lying if I said I was indifferent to that. If anything, I would have much preferred being the one handling the protection part… As it was, however, that was bound to raise flags and attract attention neither I nor Yuri wanted for the time being. Watching her focused on the task, seated still in front of the sketch as if it were the most intriguing thing around, as if she had never laid eyes on anything like it, made me question everything I thought I knew about her. Sure, Yuri could be great when it came to designs, but it wasn’t all skills and no discipline. She was one of the most hard working interns the team had known according to her seniors and mentor. Naturally, she was a head strong she-wolf, whether peopel viewed her as a defenseless, helpless omega or not, but I knew better. After all, I had seen the way she had handled that attacker
Yuri’s pov:I had a school assignment, and it kept me busy. Busy enough that I didn’t bother checking who had come into the study. I had assumed it was either one of the servants or Jakcosn coming to check on me. Instead, the smell that had become addictive over the past few weeks, no matter if it belonged to a man I should despise, made its way to my nose, distracting me beyond comprehension, making me hot and bothered when I should be focusing on the design in front of me. I clamped my legs shut, and asked in a voice I hoped would sound calm and confident, “Good evening, Alpha Leo.” “Alpha Leo?” He echoed after me in an amused tone. “Really, kitten?” “What brings you here?” I asked, doing my best to mask my shortness of breath. I could have face-palmed at my audacity and studipidity. This was his place, and I was the one who had taken liberties, choosig this study to work on my design, because I believed that the bed was too tempting, and I must not stay in the guest bedroom.
Yuri’s pov: I didn’t know why I didn’t react in time, to push Leo away, but the feeling of his lips on mine was actually pleasurable, more than ever. Even when the kiss shifted from soft and tentative to passionate and all-consuming, I didn’t stop him. If anything, I got swept away in a whirlwind
Yuri’s pov: My smile didn’t last long… I bumped into a wall of muscles, and it was none other than Leo freaking Phillips! The tingles that erupted on my arm, as he steadied me, made me almost lose focus for a moment there. Admittedly, my wolf’s yapping wasn’t helping either.I stepped away from h
Leo’s pov: There was nothing quite as maddening and puerile as a woman who thought the world revolved around her. And at that moment, holding Yuri in my arms, as if she were the most precious gem in the world – which she was, at least to me – and looking at Aurora, the woman I had supposedly loved
Leo’s pov: The car was gliding across the road, making its way into the city, when the sight of the woman who had me obsessed caught my eye. “Park right here,” I instructed the driver. The man didn’t hesitate to do so, no questions asked. That was exactly what he was paid to do – drive without
