Kayden’s POV

My shoulders tensed as I tried to hold back the shift when we walked over to my study. I had no Idea what the hell was going on in Larissa’s mind. Hell, I was a fol to let her back here. I’d somehow forgot how she got whenever she’d tried to act stubborn.

Hell, it took every ounce of strength to not want to rip her heart out of her fucking chest. She stared at me with a lopsided grin on her lips when my gaze settled on the man with salt and peppered hair, dressed in a formal grey suit, seated on my chair, behind my fucking desk.

“Are you out of your fucking mind, Larissa?!” I snarled, ignoring the frown on my uncle’s gaze as he stared at me.

“A simple ‘hello’ would have been better, son.” Alpha Supreme Magnus, tutted as he glared at me. “That is no way to greet your uncle,”

“Forgive me, uncle. But I don’t remember welcoming you into my pack, and I certainly didn’t ask Larissa to meddle in my business either.”
