My heart pumped in my ears when Raphael threw me over his shoulder and turned back to where he was earlier.
I trashed around as hard as I could, trying to fall off of his shoulder but his grip tightened around my legs, his fingers digging in to my skin.I balled my hands and tried to hit his back but I doubt he felt it."Let go of me..." I finally screamed but my pleas were met with silence.Raphael took me back to where my brother was now fighting off three men and my mother was passed out of the ground. My breath pucked up at the sight of her and Havoc.Blood was running down her forehead, the impact that drew it might have caused her to pass out.But Havoc was still fighting.Tears burned my eyes as I watched on of then turn shifted it to a large wolf a caught Havoc by the leg.I let out a scream as another wolf launched itself at my brother."No..."I couldn't watch anymore. Havoc stood no chance, I wasn't about to watch him get murdered.Closing my eyes, I fell limp on my captor's shoulder. My shoulder shook with each sob that escaped my lips."Fall back." Raphael ordered before he walked further away from my mother and Havoc.I didn't stop crying. It was weak of me. But I am weak.No wolf to give me strength and absolutely no trading to defend myself.Just a weak nothing. My hair fell from the bun and hung down, swinging from side to side with each step the Alpha took. The movement made me nauseous. I'd peeled my eyes open but the sight of the ground moving made my head spin. And before I know it, my hands fell beside my head and my vision darkened.***When I came to, my head was pounding and my body was shivering from the cold.Unlike other adult wolves, I couldn't fight the cold off because my wolf was unnaturally locked away.I tried to open my eyes but the simple action seemed to drain me.Slowly pulling my hand up to my chest, I pressed my palm flat and tried to feel my wolf.Again, she was nowhere to be found.Taking a deep breath, I forced my eyes open and the first thing that came in to my view was the rusty ceiling of a dungeon.I moved my head to the side and stated at old rusty bars.I'm definitely in a dungeon. But why?"Holding on to my head with my right hand, I pushed myself up to a sitting position amd glanced around me.There was nothing but darkness. I couldn't see anything other than a few short feet away from the bars and I couldn't here anything either. My lack of super sense was proving to be a headache. Then it hits me. The events of what happened on the night of my mating ceremony came crashing down on me.My breath picked up again as I frantically looked around the dungeons."You're finally awake." A low voice came from outside of the cell I was in.I squinted my eyes to try and see who it was but it proved to be impossible."Where am I?"My voice echoed through the dungeon and I wondered if the two of us were the only people in here.I heard a deep chuckle before a man stepped out of the shadows. He stood before me, right outside of the bars amd I had to stop myself from shaking like a leaf."Took you long enough, Zinnia." He commented.Zinnia?"I thought I'd have to come in there myself and wake you."His simple comment scared the heck out of me. Pulling my legs to my chest, I pressed my back against the cold wall of the cell and prayed that he doesn't come in."Why... Why did you bring me here?" I asked, my voice too small that I doubt her heard me.But the flash in his eyes made it obvious that he did.I watched in horror as he reached in to his pocket and pulled out a key before he unlocked the door of the cell and stepped in.Sweat trickled down the side of my head and adrenaline shot through me as I watched him step closer. He'd washed the blood he was socked in to and was not standing in front of me wearing a white t-shirts and dark jeans. His blue eyes racked the long green dress I was wearing. His face was void of any emotions amd unlike Atlas, this man didn't look like he was pretending to be emotionless."Why do you think I brought you here?" He asked instead. My eyes jumped to the widely opened door behind him and the adrenaline forced to me quickly stand up and rush past him.But I didn't get far, not even close. He grabbed my by the arm and slammed me back to the wall of the cell.Anger flashed in his eyes as he crowded me, his hand once again finding its way to my neck."Try that again and I'll tear your little head right off of his neck." He warned. He tightened his hand, forcing me up to my toes.I grabbed on to his hand with both of mine, trying to pry it off my neck."What's your name, Zinnia?" He asked before he lossened his hand a bit, enough for me to breath in and be able to speak."Mina." I whispered, too scared to refuse his question."Mina." He teased the name before he huffs."Tell me, Zinnia..." He called me that again instead of the name he'd asked for. "Are you mated?"His question dropped a shiver down my spin."Hmm?" He hummed, looking a bit inpatient to wait for my answer."Almost mated." I replied, knowing that if I lied, he'd smell it on me and that wouldn't be good for me.Raphael smirked before he dipped his head down to my neck and pressed his nose to my pulse.I heard his growl as if he was satisfied to smell the fear radiating out of me.He traced his nose up to my ears before his ears reached."This keeps getting better and better." He whispered before he pulled back and looked me straight in the eyes.I tried to look away but he tightened his hand in warning."I'm going to have to take my time with you, Zinnia. By the time I'm done with you, your entire pack will be feel it, Haden will regret ever crossing me and you, well, I guess if you make it out alive, you'll return to the scarps of Red Blood Pack, if there ever is."Tears slid down my cheeks and Raphael followed them until they hung at my chin and dropped to the ground. He returned his eyes to me and leaned closer again."Don't take it personal." He whispered before he tightened his hand fkr good measure and let me go.I took in a gulp of air as I slid down the wall and clenched my throat with both of my hands.Raphael looked down at me for a few seconds before he scoffed and moved over to the door of the cell.Tears blurred my eyes as I watched him lock the door, pocket the key and walked back in to the darkness in which I could not see.Mina Wolf...I looked outside of the window, hoping to catch the sight of the moon. My heart was thundering in my chest.I reached up and pressed my hands against my chest, feeling how wild my heart was drumming.Today is the day.Dropping my hands, I looked towards the mirror.Dressed in a floor length, sleeveless green dress and my hair falling around me, I looked ready for my mating ceremony. This scenario felt quite familiar. But the difference is that the nerves I was feeling wasn't from fear, it was from excitement. It's been two years since the first time I met Raph, which was not in the best situation. And now, two years later, with our twins recently turning one, we were going to officially take each other as mates.Even though everyone knew we were mates, we wanted to keep the tradition.Havoc came to get me and the two of us made our way out of the main pack house and walked over to the large field where the ceremony will take place in the open. When we got there, I saw that
Raphael Stars...They kicked me out. They freaking kicked me out of the front room. I paced outside of the pack hospital, wanting to barge in to the front room and be by Zi's side. But angering Monika even more is probably not an option. It's been four hours and the sun was slowly coming up. Every single time Zinnia screamed, I could hear pain in her voice. Sweat was covering my entire body."Relax man, she'll be fine." Havoc commented and I couldn't stop myself from glaring at him.Havoc stood with his arm around Okla, looking all cozy when I'm about to lose my mind.Zi screamed again and I was close to marching myself back to the door when I heard a baby cry.My heart skipped a beat at the sound."Come in." Bear called out and I quickly ran in to the front room to see Monica holding a little bundle."Cut the cord." She ordered, seeming a little bit calmer than she was when she kicked me out.Bear offered me the medical scissor and I slowly cut the cord."Congratulations, Alph
We stood outside of the main pack house, about to say goodbye to my brothers.Last night had been one of the best nights of my life. Everyone had a blast, including my brothers. But now, it was time for them to go back.Their car was prepared and ready to go, I just had to say goodbye to them, which I didn't want to.Atlas looked at me, that same old robotic expression on his face. "Stay safe, Mina." He commented before he gave me a pat on my shoulder and walked away. I watched his climb in to the drivers seat of the car and close the door.I wish he would have at least given me a hug. We might not see each other again."Let him be, Mina. Atlas is allergic to his emotions." Blaze commented as he opened his arms and wrapped them around me.I hugged him back, taking in his brotherly love."Now, make sure you're safe, Okay Mina. Constantly worrying about your whereabouts is getting exhausting." He chuckled before he pulled away."You too , Havoc. Stay safe brother." He added as he gave
I woke up when someone placed their hand on my shoulder. Slowly pealing my tired eyes open, I looked at Raphael, who was smiling down at me.What a great thing to wake up to."Wake up, Zi." He whispered before I saw him leaning in to press his lips against mine and gave me a quick kiss.He pulled away a bit and offered me his hand. With a soft groan, I took his hands and he helped me sit up on the bed.The new room we were in, which was Raphael's old room before he and I started sharing a bed, was lit up.Not by actual lights but by his aura. Raphael felt light and that gloomy cloud that always followed him around no longer bothered him. I was happy to see that my Luna powers workedEven though it was exhausting, the training I had with the elders finally paid off.I looked towards the window and finally realized that it was night time. I let out a startled gasp before I returned my eyes to Raph."I slept the entire day?" I asked, to which Raphael nodded his head."You should have wok
I leaned against the head board of Raphael's old bed as Monika looked at the cut on the side of my swollen belly.Raphael sat down next to my feet, looking at the bloody X mark with a glare. I felt a bit uncomfortable with all the stares. Not Raphael's but the rest of my brothers.I glanced towards the window of the room and looked at my five brothers standing with their arms crossed over their chests and their back leaned against the window."You guys don't have to be here, you know." I commented. "You should get some rest. I'm sure you're tired.""We're fine." The reply came in a collective mumble, bringing a small smile to my lips."I know we're making you uncomfortable." Blaze smiled at me. "But it comes with the package of having too many older brothers. Deal with it." I gave him a playful glare before I looked at all of them."I'm fine, if that's what you guys are worried about." I commented, the smile still stretching my lips."We'll leave once we make sure you're okay." Atlas
Raphael walked around Haden's body and started walking over to me. He took off his shirt and wiped the blood off of his hands as much as he could before he reached for me.Sliding his hands around my waist, he slowly pulled my up to my feet and hugged me close. My knees were a bit weak so I leaned on Raphael, wrapping my arms around him and hugging him back. "Are you okay?" Raphael asked, leaning his chin against the top of my head."I'm fine." I replied, nodding my head a bit.Raphael pressed a kiss against the top of my head before he pulled away a bit and pressed his right hand in my belly. He avoided touching the X mark as he caressed my baby bump. I watched as he closed his eyes and focused on the baby, trying to listen to the heart beat.At the very moment, our baby kicked against his hand and Raphael opened his eyes to look down at the spot.It felt like our little one was telling us he was fine as well.Raphael leaned down to press his lips against mine, giving me a short ki
