Mina Wolf....
I looked out of my window, hoping to catch the sight of the full moon.My insides twist with nerves as fear and dread consumed me.This was not how I was meant to feel on the night of my mating.Pressing my hands to my chest, I tried to feel my wolf. She was silent, as she had been for the past thirty days.Since I found my mate a month ago, my father had put a hold to my wolf, refusing me the nature of shifting.'My only daughter will be mated the proper way.' He said.'Not in the woods in the middle of no where. It will be in front of my people.' He said.I tried to fight him. I really did. But when the urge to shift and mate with Mika grew stronger, father simply locked my wolf within me, forcing her away. The last thirty days had been horrible. While the full moons pull was no longer a problem, the pain of having my wolf locked away was unimaginable. But tonight, he'll finally let me shift. He'll finally let me be with my mate, who I've not seen in the last month.Dropping my arms by my side, I glanced at the mirror and caught my reflection.Long, sleeveless green dress that matched my eyes, wild red curly hair tamed in to a bun, bare feet... I looked like I was ready to mate.So why was my heart thundering in the worse way possible? The door of my room was pushed open and I turned around to see my oldest brother, Atlas walk in.He took one look at me and knew something was wrong."What is it?" He asked, still standing by the door with his hands stuffed in to his jeans. He sounded worried but there was no trace of emotion on his face, probably why I never felt close to him."Nothing." I replied, refusing to share my feelings with a man built like a robot with only a series of questions and responses programed in him.Atlas regarded me for a few seconds before he nodded his head."Come. They're waiting for you." He commented before he turned around and left. After taking a deep breath in through my nose and blowing it out through my lips, I followed after him and left my room. The unease never left me as I walked a few steps away from Atlas.'Be happy.' I warned myself as we stepped out of the main pack house.Atlas led me over to the large field, where every adult wolf was waiting for us.My eyes jumped from one person to the next. My father, Haden and my mother, Melissa were wait for me up front and behind them stood my brothers.Atlas walked over to them and the six stood topless, only in their jeans.I walked over to my father and mother, who greet me with a proud smile. What are they so proud of?Is it because I had finally come of age or is it because I would soon be mated to our Pack's future beta?I didn't say anything to them, nor did they say anything to me.Turning towards the wolves of the Red Blood Pack, I waited for Mika to show up.The air was cold, blowing to its full force. The sudden change did more to unsettle me.I had one thought in mind and that was to run back to my room, lock the doors and keep what ever it was twisting my guts out.I waited for Mika to show up but he didn't, just like the excitement I'd been waiting to hit me."Where is he?" I heard my mother whisper. My eyes moved around the crowd, confused at his absence.Mika should have shown up even before me. And he's not the kind of person to be late or not show up at such an important event.I glanced back at my father who had a deep frown on his face. His eyes glazed over and I could tell that he was mind linking someone.Atlas moved again and walked back to the direction of the main pack house. My fingers were shaking so I locked them together.A few more minutes and the crowd broke out in murmurs and whispers. Then, it hits me.An an imaginable pain cracked through my skull and I let out a loud gasp before I fell to the ground. The pain was not mine. It was that of my mates. My mother came to my side and said something, but I couldn't make out the words. They felt so distant and muffled.I opened my eyes, tears blurring them but I could see bright dots appearing in the woods. The dark woods were stormed by them. For a second, I thought they could be fire flies or something. But at closer look, I could tell what they really were.EyesEyes of wolves staring at each and every single one of us.The entire pack went on high alert and my mother tried to pull me up to my feet. But my knees were weak.I could here commotions, father yelling out commands, my brothers getting ready to defend their pack and the rest of the people already in fighting mode.At the corner of my eyes, I saw Atlas running back to the field, his jeans covered with blood, as were his hands."They attacked the main pack house." He yelled."Who?" Father growled as he face the woods."The Blue Moons."As soon as Atlas said the name of the pack, the entire field silence. I never knew why, but the Blue Moon pack has never been mentioned here. It's like there's a secret code and if anyone dares to even speak of their names, they'd pay dearly."Havoc..." Father called out to one of my brothers, the youngest from my six older brothers. "Get you mother and Mina to the ware house."He ordered and Havoc didn't hesitate for a second before he moved over to us.Unlike my mother, Havoc wasn't gentle. He grabbed me by my arm and dragged me up to my feet before he started leading our mother and I to the warehouse. My breath was frantic. I could still feel Mika's pain but he was alive. I could feel that too.Only, his pain was dragging me back, turning my knees to jello with each step I took."Hurry up." Havoc growled at me as he pulled me by my arm.Mother was running infront us, her feet carrying her faster than mine were. She took a turn then stopped, causing Havoc and I to slam in to her.Havoc steadied me with my arm before he pushed me behind him. There, a few feet away from us, stood three men.Two of them looked identical, but the one standing between them was dangerously different.Mother's breath caught in her throat when the man smirked."Havoc, take your sister." She whispered without taking her eyes off of the three men.All three were drenched in blood but it was not their own."Well, well, well... If it isn't Luna Melissa." The middle man growled, causing the other two to smirk along with him. "It's been a while since we met, hasn't it?"Mother took a step back, her brave Luna spirit getting stripped off of her.My brother didn't listen to our mother's command. Instead, he let go of my arm and stepped in front of our mother, shielding her with his broad figure. The move caused the other man to howl out a hideous laugh."I wasn't planning on killing your sons just yet but, I guess we can have a little warm up." He commented and the two identical men nodded their heads before they walked in separate direction and tried to circle us.I turned around but our way was blocked by another man, he too covered in blood."Please, Raphael, my children did nothing..." Mother tried to plead. "She wouldn't have wanted this..."The smirk dropped from the man's face and a darker look too over, making me miss the wild smirk. It was ten times better that the murderous look."It's Alpha Raphael for you, Melissa. And you speak of her again, then I will burn everything you hold dear right before your eyes." He growled. It wasn't a threat. It was a promise and I felt it radiating through my entire body, sending a shiver down my back. His blue eyes settled on me and I held my breath. The wild smirk crawled back to his lips."On second thought..." He said, tilting his head to the side to get a better view of me. "I'd like to start with your daughter."My mother shook her head."Run." She whispered to me. They would have heard her but knowing that I can't mind link yet, she had to take the risk.Havock stood unmoved in front of my mother, ready to defend her. But the other man was still staring at me.And like the cowered I am, I turned around and ran.The one man standing behind me didn't try to stop me. But I didn't have the time to stop and think about why he let me go.I tried to run as fast as I could but the pain was slowing me down.Loud, angry foot steps rung behind me but I didn't dare turn around and look at who was following me.Picking my long dress up so it wouldn't trip me, I tried to pick up my pace. But it wasn't long before someone tackled me to the ground.I tried to scream but I didn't get a chance at the person rolled me to my back and wrapped their hand around my neck.I looked up and saw his face loaming over mine, the one my mother had called Raphael. He looked at me for a few seconds and his eyes turned in to golden amber.I tried to fight his hand off of my neck but he tightened his fingers. He leaned closer to my face until his lips were brushing against my ear."You'll have to do." He whispered before he pulled away and dragged me off of the ground. My heart pumped in my ears when Raphael threw me over his shoulder and turned back to where he was earlier.I trashed around as hard as I could, trying to fall off of his shoulder but his grip tightened around my legs, his fingers digging in to my skin. I balled my hands and tried to hit his back but I doubt he felt it."Let go of me..." I finally screamed but my pleas were met with silence.Raphael took me back to where my brother was now fighting off three men and my mother was passed out of the ground. My breath pucked up at the sight of her and Havoc.Blood was running down her forehead, the impact that drew it might have caused her to pass out.But Havoc was still fighting.Tears burned my eyes as I watched on of then turn shifted it to a large wolf a caught Havoc by the leg.I let out a scream as another wolf launched itself at my brother."No..."I couldn't watch anymore. Havoc stood no chance, I wasn't about to watch him get murdered.Closing my eyes, I fell limp on my captor
The sun peeked through the small window at the top of the cell.I glanced at the window. My head was leaned against my knees, which were still drawn to my chest. My tears had long dried and my body got used to the cold. But I did not sleep a wink last night, too afraid that the Alpha might come and visit me in my sleep.Last night kept playing in my head. Raphael had wanted to hurt me, amd I mean really hurt me.But why?I've never met him before nor did I even know what he looked like. But the hatred he held for me was a deep one, one that seemed to have taken root in him a long time ago.'Haden will regret ever crossing me.' That's what he had said to me last night. What could my father have done for him to take me from my home, on the night of my mating ceremony nonetheless? And most of all, what is he going to do to me?I pulled I eyes away from the window and I heard soft clicks of footstep echoing through the dungeons.I looked over to the door, expecting the see the Alpha agai
The cold forced my body in to a violent shiver. Even though I was damped with cold sweat and I was shivering, my body was on fire. The open wounds on my head, my foot and my ankle were throbing. In the past twelve or so hours, none of my wounds have healed.I'd already lost concious multiple of times and each time I woke up, I felt ten times worse than I did before. The wound on my head had bled heavily and the blood had run down the side of my face. With the constant flow of the blood, it didn't dry up so the wound could naturally heal.Nothing about this is natural. When the sun went down and the cell was swallowed by darkness, I felt truly lost.I closed my eyes and tried to think of a happy place, one I could easily get lost in.The only place I could think of was the safely of my bedroom. The four walls had always kept me safe.Born the youngest and only girl of the Alpha had put pressure on me. While my brother's were destined to be Alpha's and warriors of the pack, I was des
Raphael Stars...I looked out the window of my office. The sight of the woods caused my wolf to stir.Placing my right palm flat against my chest, I rubbed it in a circular motion so my wolf would calm down. The pull to the woods is always tempting, especially near the full moon. I knew I could never enjoy a run with my people again. Even though my wolf wanted to go for a run, he settled in my head.I watched as the sun rose up to the sky, shining it's beautiful rays down on the small forest, making it look more tempting that it did before.Ten years. It's been ten long years since I've been in those woods. Ten painfully long years since I'd led my people on a full moon run.Ten horrifyingly long years since...I glanced at the picture on top of my table. It's been ten years since I casted the frame down to face the surface of the table and not once have I touched that frame again. It was left down. I never dared to touch it again. Everyone knows not to touch tha
Mina Wolf...I woke up with a sever headache. A skull splitting throb drummed its way form the center of my forehead up to the top of my head. Letting out a soft groan, I pressed my right palm against my head and flinched when I touched the wound.Slowly pealing my eyes open, I looked up at the celling of my cell and let out a soft sigh.I was still laying on the cold floor."You're up?" I heard Beatrice's voice near the door of the cell and I turned my head to the side to look at her. She stared at me from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. Her gaze was cold and indifferent but I could tell that she was checking my bandaged wounds. Pushing myself up with my arms, I got in to a sitting position and looked down at my right leg. There was a blood socked white bandage wrapped around my right feet up to my ankle. The bandage covered the scratch as well. When the door of the cell creeked, I turned my head around and watched as Beatrice slowl
Beatrice took me back to the kitchen, where the ladies who were preparing breakfast a while ago were lined up and waiting for us.My dress matched with theirs but the only difference was the hair and the shoes.Their hairs were combed back and secured tightly in to a bun at the nap of their necks, not a single strand out of place. Their dresses were perfectly pressed and they were wearing white sandlas on their feet."Girls..." Beatirce called out from beside me and their eyes immediately went to her. They looked up at her like she was their leader. "We have a new wolf that will be assisting you. If you need any assistance with your work, then ask. By the end of the day, it will be your responsibility to make sure that she will return to this kitchen when I'm present."The women looked at me up and down as if I was enemy number one. There were like ten of them and each sported some sort of hatred towards me."Am I understood?" Beatrice asked and the rest of the women mumbled a yes."G
I froze when the Alpha's growl filled the room. "What do you think you're doing here?" He asked, stepping in to the room.My insides immediately twited with fear. I glanced at the bucket of water I'd left by the side of the door."I... I was..." I stuttered, the words refusing to leave my lips.My tongue was tied, so tied up that I couldn't even finish a sentence. "What are you doing here?" He yelled, causing me to flinch and move backwards, away from him.Raphael's eyes blazed golden as he stalked towards me. I walked backwards again until i bumped in to the changing table and knocked it over.Raphael's eyes followed the table as it fell to the ground. His anger rose.I could see veins swelling on the side of his neck and on his forehead. His golden eyes shone more and his aura filled the room.I took a deep breath and bit down a whimper when I felt his Alpha aura crush me down.It was at the tip of my tongue to tell him to stop, to beg for his mercy. But then I remembered his reac
Raphael Stars...I rolled around in bed, trying to find a comfortable position to fall asleep. Like always, sleep was not going to come. Each night I come to bed, I'd struggle to sleep, even after I'd moved rooms.A few years back, I was still sleeping in that bed, in the room next to the nursery. The room was filled with too may memories that I could never get a decent sleep. When father suggested that I move to another room so I could get better sleep, I did just that. But it never worked. My mind would constantly travel to the nursery I was building and to the bedroom right beside it.They never left my mind. Even after ten years, they keep visiting me at night.Letting out a heavy sigh, I rolled to my back and stared up at the ceiling. My head was throbbing and my body was exhausted but I still couldn't sleep. It was as if my mind was too scared to show me images of what I'd lost again.I let out another sigh I could count sheep but that would just make my wolf hungry. A h
