Lucinda's POV

Firedunes is captivating and ravishing, and this is coming from someone who has seen, been too and lived in all three packs. We got out the house and we first walked on the open grounds which was even more lively.

There were cubs everywhere running around, playing, some being taught things and others being disciplined. Wherever we went, we were greeted with a cute little bow and when Shadow was introducing me, he declared openly that I was his mate.

People started calling me Luna, and by the time we were just deep within the woods, I was convinced that everyone knew me.

"Is it true that there are mythical beasts here?" I've always been curious. People talk about the mythical beasts, but I wanted to know from a person who actually lived here if it was true.

"Lucinda, we are deep in the forest, and you only asking that question now?" he lift his eyebrows.

"Are they real?" I giggle, covering my mouth.

"Of course they are real," he shakes his head in disbelief. "That is lit

Lucinda's POVThe past couple of days have been nothing but bliss. Bliss but with work involved and a part of me has a fear. That as much as all of this is good and Shadow is the best mate there is, there is that lingering doubt that what if he breaks my heart too? What if he gets bored or finds someone better? What if-,"You're thinking, what about?" Shadow interrupts my train of thought."Nothing," I am quick to respond."Lying isn't your best fort honey, try again,"We were on our way to the fare. Today was our day off. Shadow thought it would be a good idea to unwind. We have been doing nothing but work, or more so, he has been teaching me the way around work for the past couple of days and it's been hectic.I've never been exposed to this much responsibility with this much people to lead. Shadow has been nothing but an angel helping me out and carrying me all the way. But I can't help but feel that maybe he will get tired of me."Do you think you will ever get tired of me?" I ask

Nanawe's POV I decide to stay behind and let the boys go. I know that by the time we get back home, I will have to say goodbye to them and I don't think I am good at those. But before all that, I need to talk to see my husband. its been a moment. The council house is oddly quiet after the meeting as everyone else goes to their respective offices and the camber hall is empty. I take smell a wolf inside and instantly I know it's Phoenix. He is standing at the head of the table and I quiet let myself in. Although me and Phoenix don't see eye to eye, I know to be sure that this is just between us, not my people. He doesn’t turn when I enter. “You’re still here,” I say softly. His shoulders stiffen for half a heartbeat before he smooths the gesture away. “I could say the same,” he replies. “I thought you left with your kids. Why are you still here, wonder these halls?" “First of all, I don’t wander,” I say. “Secondly, I have much rights to wander these halls so long as my hear

Arthur’s POV Today was the day. We were meeting the council and by seven a.m. everyone was ready. Quin was still asleep, and I allow her too. She needs all the rest there is and I don’t have it in me to wake her. She already carries a kingdom of decisions on her shoulders, and whatever verdict the council throwsat us today will only stack more. Truth be told, I don’t care much for the council’s thoughts. They’re important, yes. But they don’t hold a candle to Quin. If they declare anything that hurts her, I’ll burn their verdict to ash and choose her anyway. “You ready, mate?” Ares asks. “Sure.” Ares is finally coming back, slowly but surely and I allow him space to breathe. He needs it and truth be told, I also need it. I head out and meet Queen Mother and Winter waiting in the dining room. “Everyone ready to go?” I ask. “Sure. Also, side note,” Winter lifts a brow, “your house needs food. You cannot possibly be letting my sister stay here if you can’t feed her.” I don’t

Arthur's POV Ares is still quiet. He has been the whole time and I am allowing him to cool down, we all need that. After the meal, I wanted to talk to Quin because I also want to see where she wants to stay, how she wants to lead her life. Going forward, her heart and mind is of utmost importance. I had asked Echo to stay with nanna Avery whilst I talk with her. "What do you want to do?" I ask. I closed the door behind us, whilst she headed straight to bed. "You do realise I will probably pass out whilst trying to make a solid conversation with you right?" she chuckles, getting in bed. "I do, but I just wanted to know if you have a plan in mind, if Moon goddess has visited you, if Lia is back," I start. "I don't have a plan if I am honest," she sighs, massaging her temples. "Lia is still quiet, and moon girl hasn't visited me," "Do you want to be a doctor?" I query. I know that is probably a rhetorical question, but I ask nevertheless. "Yes," She nods. "I figured. Do

Quin’s POV We are in the dining room, everyone with a plate of food in front of them. The table is surrounded by my family. I don’t know, nor have I ever thought that it would extend like this. Arthur next to me, with Dawn on the other side, Winter next to Dawn, then mom, Nanawe, then Echo. The table is filled with light chatter and it's comfortable, so I continue eating my meal without disturbance. Nanawe starts, “What do you want to do?” She looks at me. I look up and point at myself and she nods. “After this, tomorrow, what do you want to do? Where do you want to stay? Let me know, and I’ll have it arranged,” She adds. “I don’t know,” I heavily breathe, placing the utensils on the side. “I just want to relax I guess. Then there is also my job at the hospital, I don't know how and where they think I am, but it's time I go back and have that fixed, do a proper handover if I have to, and well, I guess I still have to decide what I want to do and where I will do it," T

Nanawe’s POV “Where is everyone?” I arrive at the dining room, and only Dawn is there. It's almost dark out and the house is rather quiet. “Winter is with Quin, Echo is with Quin, probably sleeping, I think," she mutters, her eyes glued on her phone. "Marie is sleeping in Nanna Avery’s room, and Arthur and Nanna Avery are somewhere in the house,” she adds wavering her hand.“How is Quin?” I decided to return to Arthur’s house to get the plan underway. I can’t let the moon goddess down, but I also must consider Quin. She maybe our Luna, but she is also a human. A mother to my grandson and a potential wife to my son. She is to be my daughter, and I will treasure her and protect her, no matter the cost.“She will be fine. She just needs to rest. I heard that Lia is back, how?” she questions.“I made a bargain,” I sit down opposite her.“With what?” She looks up, placing her phone beside her. “I was to train her to be the best Luna yet. The best fighter, the best Queen, and the best s
