Chapter Nine

Catherine's POV.

I showered quickly, wincing in pain as the water hit some of the bruises I had sustained in the previous pack. It was a subtle reminder of my background and how things weren't what they used to be.

Coming out of the bathroom, I saw clothes on the bed, it was obvious to me.

I sat down thinking of what he said, I was stuck with a man who loves me. However, there was still a nagging feeling within me the time o be cautious around him.

I heard voices outside, and I ran to the window, I could see some sort of celebration going on.

I opened the door, deciding to join the celebration, I went downstairs.

I felt like an outsider just observing what they were doing when suddenly I felt someone touch me. Upon looking around, it was none other than Rose.

"You need to see this.." She revealed, pointing in the direction of a passage, leading to the smaller rooms within the mansion.
