He sighed at the sight of the golden gleaming gate that led to his mansion. George who was the guard assigned to the gate, opened it with a bow while ushering him into the mansion.

As expected, everywhere was serene and quiet as though no one existed in the house. Even when Bryce was sure that a dozen other guards were loitering somewhere around the compound, claiming to be the protection of the Alpha.

He could not tell if he loved darkness more than light. But the several gleaming lights that shone from his house seemed to irritate his eyes.
