Chp 5 Pt. 4 Some Things Never Change

I listen carefully as he explains what he calls the shadow world and that he and his family are werewolves along with many others in this community. He says vampires, fairies, witches and warlocks are also real. He continues to explain how he is the leader of his pack called an alpha and that there are several packs throughout the United States as well in other countries. Always there but never seen.

A memory hits me as I recall the day my father attacked me that landed me with this family. It was a wolf that I saw break into our house before I blacked out. If I remember correctly it was my wolf. I wonder if my wolf is actually one of these people, a werewolf.

“Did a wolf kill my father? I clearly heard him say wolf before I blacked out.”

“No I promise you we didn’t kill him. He disappeared before we could.”
