Trixie POVThe chatter in the cafeteria buzzed around us as I slid into the lunch table with Jerica, Abby, and Janet. The usual hum of cliques and gossip filled the air, but our little circle was focused on something else—fall break plans.“Okay, so fall break’s coming up in October,” Abby said, biting into her apple. “It’s like a whole week off. Anyone have ideas on what we should do?”Janet shrugged. “We could do the usual—movie marathons, bonfires, pumpkin picking?”Jerica leaned forward, her eyes bright. “And Halloween! We definitely have to do something for that. Maybe a costume party?”I smiled, looking around at my friends. “I like the idea o
Trixie POVThe stars were bright above Alpha Sam’s pack lands, the full moon glowing like a beacon in the sky. The air was crisp and alive, charged with the unmistakable hum of unity. Trevor, Jake, Eric, and I arrived late that afternoon, greeted with warmth and hospitality by Alpha Sam, his Beta Opie, and the rest of their pack.Their territory was beautiful—lush with tall pines and winding rivers, a little more rural and wild than ours. Though their pack was slightly smaller in number, the land radiated pride and strength. I could tell they took care of their home, and each other. As we stepped out of the SUV, Alpha Sam greeted us with a wide grin and a firm handshake. "Alpha Trevor, welcome. We’re honored to host you and your companions. Alpha Brock sends his regards to us; he was unable to make it tonight."Trevor nodded. " I wasn't aware he wouldn't be coming. Thank you, Sam. The honor is ours."
Jerica’s POVThe light from the full moon filtered softly through the trees as I stood at the edge of the clearing—the very same clearing where Trixie had her first shift. The air was thick with anticipation and a subtle electric hum, as if the forest itself was holding its breath, waiting for me to take the next step. My heart pounded loud in my chest, equal parts excitement and nerves swirling together.I looked over at my mother, Melissa. Her calm presence was a lifeline. She smiled gently at me, her eyes warm and steady, full of pride and reassurance. “Are you ready, Jerica?” she asked softly.I swallowed hard, nodding. “I think so. I’m… I’m scared, but ready.”Melissa stepped forward and took my hand. “That’s perfectly normal. Your wolf will come to you, just like it came to Trixie. Trust yourself. Trust her.”We stepped into the clearing together, the grass soft beneath our feet. The scent of pine and earth wrapped around me like a protective blanket. I closed my eyes and breath
Triies POVThe alliance formed quickly with Alpha Brock and Alpha Sam. I haven't seen any new visions but something seems off with Alpha Brock. I get a feeling about him like he is hiding something. Trevor reassures me we have nothing to worry about now. There haven't been any new rogue attacks since the alliance was formed either which was reassuring. Maybe there is hope after all that I could reunite my family's bloodline into a pack again and create a place to call home for them. A what cost I was still unsure. We have sent scouts to try and find where the hunters were and it seems the packs land they once occupied is now deserted. We had some trackers trying to find where they went next but hadnt had much luck there. We had a dinner party planned to celebrate the alliances for the next full moon at Alpha Sams pack and the the following one would be at Alpha Brocks pack. The traveling seemed to make Trevor neverous but he tried to pretend like it didnt. Beta Eric was more at ease,
Trevor POVMyself, Eric, Jake and Joe all waited downstairs for Alpha Brock, Charles and Alex to finally come down. "Good Morning, I trust you all slept well?" I greeted them. Charles nodded, "Indeed. The bed in my room is impeccably soft. I love it." Charles stretched and laughed to himself. "Perhaps you all would like some breakfast before discussing business?" Eric asked them. "Coffee is fine for me, never been much of a breakfast person myself. But Charles and Alex may disagree with me." He looks to them. "Speak for yourself." Alex grumbles, clearly he was not a morning person. "As far as business goes I believe we have already came to a decision. We agree to the alliance." Alpha Brock puffs out his chest. Eric smiles. "That is excellent news!" I say. "We need to have the blood oaths completed. I can see if Alpha Sam would be able to come tomorrow morning to complete the ritual." I tell Brock. "Tonight would be even better after the pack run?" Jake inquires of me. "You are right.
Trixie POVWe returned from the mall to find Jerica waiting on the front porch for us. I completely forgot she was coming by today to keep me company. I gave her a gentle smile as we got out of the car. She rolled her eyes and then smiled back. Standing up and following up inside. "I am - " "No need. Its all good. I was busy until about 20 minutes ago anyway." Jerica just smiled. I nodded. "You girls ready to whip it up in the kitchen?" Alana teased me. "Oh, you already know mom is ready to challenge you again for the cook off?" Jerica teased her. "I am sure she is." Alana giggled. "I need to know this story." I tell them. They both chuckle. "You will soon enough. Our annual cook soup off off is in the winter. You will likely be a judge this year. Better I not taint you to my side now or Melissa will be ready to fight me." Alana smiles. "Alright, alright. Lets whip something up together." We followed her into the kitchen. We made some homemade lasagna and popcorn and ending up spen
