SARAH'S POV

Even though it was a rushed wedding, my joy knew no bounds when we were exchanging our vows. I could not believe I would spend the rest of my life with this man? It was a future I looked forward to.

And when he slipped the shiny ring on my finger, my heart leapt. I could see the sincerity in him. The claim was that we are getting married so he could protect me, but in actual sense, the foundation of this marriage was love.

It all happened too fast and our supposed honeymoon should be different. So I stood my ground firmly, refusing to go to the hotel. Though it was a luxurious place, I was not sure if it would be special. So I just wanted us to take our time. I had priorities too - my exams.

After studying throughout the rest of the day, I finally stepped out of the study to join them in planning the night party we would be having. Damon had a grown throughout, he was sulking and he looked so cute.

At some point, I summoned him into the room to have a brief talk with him.
