Sienna's POV

The moment Jaxson’s mouth claimed mine, the remaining fragments of my sanity disintegrated into pure, unadulterated heat.

His kiss wasn't gentle or hesitant; it was a hungry, possessive demand that swept through my system like wildfire. The contrast between his cold, unyielding Alpha exterior and the fevered intensity of his lips pressed against mine stripped away every wall I had built over five agonizing years. I let out a soft, helpless whimper into his mouth, my fingers tangling in the thick, dark hair at the nape of his neck as I pulled him closer, completely surrendering to the electric pull humming between us.

Jaxson groaned low in his chest, a deep, resonant vibration that I felt all the way in my core. His large, warm hand cupped the back of my head, holding me firmly against him while his other arm slid down to wrap around my lower back. With a effortless lift, he hitched my thigh up around his hip, crushing my pelvis against the hard ridge of his arousal. A sharp, sweet ache bloomed between my legs, slicking my thighs and making my head spin.

"You're driving me mad, Sienna," he rasped against my lips, his breath hot and ragged as he pulled back just a fraction of an inch. His eyes burned a bright, dangerous gold in the shadows of the stone alcove, his pupils blown wide with primitive hunger. "I'm not letting you go back to that kitchen. Not tonight. Not ever."

"Jaxson..." I breathed, my hands trembling as they rested against the hard muscles of his chest. "Someone will see us... the elders, the guards—"

"Let them look," he growled softly, dropping his forehead against mine as his thumb traced the sensitive curve of my lower lip. "Let them try to take you from me."

Before I could process his words, Jaxson hooked his arm beneath my knees and lifted me off my feet entirely. I gasped, instinctually wrapping my arms around his broad neck and locking my legs around his waist as he backed out of the dark alcove. Instead of heading back down the corridor toward the loud, bustling grand hall, he carried me swiftly toward his private wing at the top of the packhouse—a secluded tower reserved exclusively for the Alpha line.

My heart hammered against my ribs, a wild mix of terror and intoxicating anticipation sweeping through me. Servants were strict forbidden from entering the Alpha’s personal quarters unless specifically ordered for cleaning. Walking in there in his arms, pressed against his body like a prized possession, felt like crossing a point of no return. Yet, as his scent of cedarwood, crushed cloves, and heavy ozone wrapped tightly around my senses, my wolf sang in absolute victory.

Our mate. Our Alpha, she cheered, drowning out the tiny, quiet voice of reason in the back of my mind warning me of the morning after.

Jaxson kicked open the heavy oak door to his suite and carried me inside, kicking it shut behind us with a loud, resounding thud that echoed off the high stone ceilings. The room was dark, lit only by the warm, flickering embers of a dying fire in the stone fireplace and the soft silver moonlight pouring through the grand arched windows overlooking the forest below.

He didn't stop to turn on the lamps. He carried me directly toward the massive, dark timber bed draped in heavy furs and black sheets.

When he lowered me onto the soft mattress, I felt tiny without his weight pressing against me. I looked up, my pulse fluttering in my throat, as Jaxson stripped off his dark waistcoat and tossed it onto a nearby chair with ruthless efficiency. His fingers made quick work of the silver buttons on his dark shirt, pulling the fabric open to reveal broad, sculpted chest muscles, deep battle scars, and the intricate black ancestral tattoos creeping up his ribs and shoulders.

He leaned down over the bed, planting his palms on either side of my shoulders, boxing me in completely.

"Look at me, Sienna," he commanded softly, his golden eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that made my breath catch. "No more running to the shadows. No more bowing your head to women who aren't worthy to scrub your boots. Tonight, you belong to me."

"Jaxson, I'm just an Omega," I whispered, the harsh reality of pack hierarchy trying one last time to pull me back to earth. "The pack won't accept—"

"I don't give a damn about rank," Jaxson snapped gently, lowering his head to press his warm lips against the sensitive spot just beneath my ear. A sharp shiver ran down my spine, my hips twitching upward against the mattress. "My wolf chose you. I chose you. You are mine, Sienna. I will burn this entire pack to the ground before I let anyone separate us."

His possessive declaration hit me like a physical wave, melting away the last remnants of my resistance. I reached up and dragged my nails lightly down his bare back, pulling his warm chest down against mine.

Jaxson let out a guttural growl, his patience snapping completely.

His large hands made quick work of my server’s tunic, pulling the rough, plain fabric over my head and discarding it onto the floorboards. When his bare skin met mine, a blinding spark of raw, electric magic erupted between us. My skin felt white-hot, sensitive to the slightest touch of his calloused fingers. He peeled away the rest of my clothing until I lay completely exposed beneath his burning gaze in the moonlight.

Jaxson’s eyes swept down my body, trailing over the soft curve of my waist, my small hips, and the flush creeping across my thighs. His expression was reverent, almost pained with the sheer weight of his desire.

"You're beautiful," he muttered, his voice gravelly and raw. "Perfection."

He sheds his trousers, his towering, powerful frame coming over me once more. The full heat of his broad, heavy body covered mine, trapping me in a haven of his dominant scent. When his hand slid down my stomach and his fingers found the wet, hot center between my thighs, a sharp cry escaped my throat.

"Jaxson!" I gasped, arching my back as he rubbed gentle, circular strokes against my most sensitive spot.

"You're so wet for me, sweetheart," he murmured against my neck, his hot breath sending goosebumps flying across my skin. "So ready for your Alpha."

He didn't make me wait. Gathering my hips in his large, commanding hands, Jaxson aligned himself with my entrance. He paused for a fleeting second, his golden eyes searching my dark brown ones, silently asking for the final permission.

"Yes," I breathed, sliding my hands up to cup his sharp jawline. "Please, Jaxson."

With a slow, heavy thrust, Jaxson pushed himself deep inside me.

The stretch was intense, a glorious, overwhelming fullness that made my toes curl and my head toss back against the pillows. A soft sob of pure pleasure escaped my lips as the mate bond snapped into place around our shared intimacy, locking our souls together in an ancient, unbreakable knot.

Jaxson froze for a moment, letting out a ragged, tortured groan as he buried his face in my hair, his entire muscular frame shaking from the effort of holding back. "Fuck, Sienna... you feel so tight... so warm. You were made for me."

"Jaxson... move," I whimpered, my nails digging into the hard muscles of his shoulders, my body instinctually lifting to meet his pace.

He didn't hold back any longer. Jaxson began to move, establishing a slow, deep, and relentless rhythm that drove every lingering thought from my mind. Every heavy thrust of his hips sent shockwaves of white-hot pleasure shooting through my abdomen. His skin was slick with sweat, his ancestral tattoos glistening in the low firelight as he claimed every inch of my body with fierce, uncompromising authority.

The bedroom filled with the sounds of our tangled breathing, the low, possessive growls rumbling in Jaxson’s throat, and the soft, needy cries spilling from my lips. He flipped me over, pulling my hips up against his thighs, driving into me from behind with a raw, primal energy that left me breathless and sobbing his name into the dark furs.

"You're mine, Sienna," he growled low, leaning down to bite gently at the junction where my neck met my shoulder—marking his territory without breaking the skin, leaving a deep bruise of ownership that would last for days. "Say it. Tell me who you belong to."

"Yours," I sobbed out, my hands gripping the wooden headboard as another wave of intense building heat coiled deep in my stomach. "I'm yours, Jaxson! Always yours!"

"Good girl," he rasped, his pace quickening into a hard, punishing rhythm that pushed me right over the edge.

My climax hit me like an explosion of liquid fire. My internal muscles clamped tightly around his length, a high, shattered cry tearing from my throat as wave after wave of intense pleasure crashed over my brain. Seconds later, with a harsh, guttural roar that vibrated through the mattress, Jaxson drove deep inside one last time and poured his warmth into me, his powerful body shuddering violently as he fell over me.

For long minutes, the only sound in the room was our ragged, heavy panting.

Jaxson rolled onto his side, instantly pulling my limp, exhausted body tightly against his chest. He pulled the heavy fur blanket over us, wrapping his long legs around mine and resting his arm firmly over my waist, anchoring me to his side as if terrified I would vanish into thin air if he loosened his grip.

"Stay," he whispered into my messy hair, his warm lips pressing soft, gentle kisses against my forehead, my temple, and my neck. "Sleep, my sweet Sienna. Tomorrow, everything changes."

Safe in his arms, drowning in his scent, I let my eyelids flutter closed, believing every word he said, completely unaware of the cold, brutal heartbreak waiting for me when the sun came up.

Sienna's POVThe sharp, sour taste hit the back of my mouth before my eyes even opened.I scrambled out from beneath the heavy furs, my knees hitting the cool wooden floorboards with a dull thud. I grabbed the wide clay bowl Gideon kept by the foot of the frame, doubled over, and heaved until my throat burned. Nothing came up except stomach acid and bile, but my body kept shaking, my stomach knotting into tight, painful cramps that left me gasping for air.Outside the small glass pane, the early morning light was pale and grey. The heavy rain from weeks ago had long cleared, leaving only cold, quiet fog hanging low over the pine trees.I leaned my forehead against the rim of the bowl, taking slow, shuddering breaths through my nose. My whole chest felt raw."Take it easy, child," a quiet voice said from across the room.Gideon walked over, his soft leather boots making almost no sound on the floor. He set a wooden cup of warm water next to me, then picked up a dry rag from the washsta

  • The Alpha's Unwanted Heir   Chapter 10

Gideon's POVThe storm was reaching its violent peak, turning the mountain ridge into a chaotic landscape of mud, roaring water, and thrashing pine branches. I moved quietly through the thick underbrush, keeping my heavy canvas cloak drawn tight around my neck. At sixty years old, my wolf was slower than he used to be, but my eyes and ears were still as sharp as a newly honed skinning knife.I was heading back toward my shelter after checking on my fox-tail traps when the sharp scent of copper and fresh rogue sweat caught the cold wind.I froze behind the trunk of an ancient hemlock tree, my hand instinctively dropping to the ivory handle of the hunting blade at my belt. Through the heavy curtain of rain down in the ravine, two men were crouched by the bank of the rushing stream.I recognized them instantly. Kael and his younger brother, Bratt—two ruthless, banished enforcers who inhabited the lower valley, preying on whatever weak or injured travelers stumbled off the main pack road

Sienna's POVThe icy downpour never let up. It pounded against my head and shoulders like tiny lead pellets, soaking through every thread of my heavy wool cloak until the fabric felt as heavy as iron armor. My boots sloshed through thick, black mud that sucked at my feet with every single step. My knees were stiff, trembling so violently from the bitter mountain cold that I could barely keep my legs moving forward. But I didn't stop. I couldn't stop. The sheer fear of being dragged back to the Bloodmoon Packhouse—or worse, being cornered by feral wolves in the pitch black—kept my lungs dragging thin, icy air into my chest.I had crossed the eastern border river two miles back. The water had been raging, swollen high from the storm, pulling at my waist as I dragged myself across the slippery river stones. When my feet finally touched the opposite bank, I knew I had crossed a fatal line.I was no longer on pack land. I was in the Northern Frontier—a lawless, unmapped wilderness where ro

  • The Alpha's Unwanted Heir   Chapter 8

Jaxson's POV Rain lashed against the tall arched windows of my private office, sending cold silver streaks down the glass. Outside, thunder rolled across the valley in low, continuous rumbles, but inside the room, the silence was suffocating. I sat behind my carved mahogany desk, my hands flat against the dark wood, staring at the small stone basin in the corner of the room. On the edge of the washstand sat the ceramic mug I had retrieved from the lower corridor an hour ago. It was completely empty. Not a single drop of the dark, bitter Moon-tea remained inside. I stared at the faint reddish stain at the bottom of the clay, my jaw locked so tight my back teeth ached. It was done. The brew had been consumed. Every potential tie, every microscopic thread that could have bound my bloodline to an unranked Omega had been severed and scrubbed clean. This was what was necessary. This was what leadership demanded. I picked up my pen, dipping the steel nib into dark ink, and forced my ey

  • The Alpha's Unwanted Heir   Chapter 7

Sienna's POVThe sky above the Bloodmoon territory had turned the color of a fresh bruise by late afternoon. Heavy, bruised-purple clouds rolled over the jagged peaks of the Northern Ridge, blotting out the remaining sunlight and bringing an unnatural, oppressive dusk forward by two hours. Cold wind whipped through the towering pines, making the branches scrape against the stone walls of the packhouse like desperate, clutching fingers.Inside my tiny servant’s quarters on the lowest floor—a cramped room with a narrow iron bed, a cracked washbasin, and no window—the quiet was deafening.I stood over my bed, staring down at the meager belongings spread across the thin, threadbare blanket. A second plain tunic, a pair of patched wool socks, a small carved wooden wolf my father had given me before his death, and a small leather pouch containing seventeen copper coins—my entire life's savings after five years of endless, backbreaking labor. My hands trembled as I folded the tunic, my fin

  • The Alpha's Unwanted Heir   Chapter 6

Sienna's POV I stayed slumped against the wooden door, my back pressed flat against the timber, listening as the quiet footsteps of passing servants faded away into the distance. My chest rose and fell in ragged, shallow gasps. Deep inside my ribs, where the mate bond had hummed with fiery life only hours ago, there was only a hollow, scorched void. Jaxson’s public words echoed in my ears, bouncing off the damp stone walls of my mind with brutal precision. An Omega cannot strengthen my leadership. A weak mate brings no territory, no guards, and no political power. I formally reject Sienna Vance as my mate. I looked down at my trembling right hand, my chest aching so violently I thought my ribs might crack open. He hadn't just rejected me in front of his inner circle to prove his authority; he wanted every trace of our night wiped clean before sunset. A heavy, deliberate thud sounded against the wooden door behind my head. I froze, my breath catching in my throat. "Sienna." Hi
