I got a lot of looks from the group of warriors sidling up to the training grounds from their cars and even Alpha Ryker looked puzzled by my entourage. He was more subtle about it though, standing behind his truck drinking water. I avoided eye contact with him though, not sure how I feel about what happened last night. I did notice the sheen of sweat on him, and tried not to let my thoughts wander while I am standing in the middle of all of these kids.

“Can you come to our training?” Emily asks, bringing my attention back to her. “I want to show you how good I am.” She shadow boxes for me.

I laugh. “I don’t know what my plans are for the rest of the day, but if I can, I totally will come watch you.” She wraps her tiny arms around my waist and gives me a hug, which I return. Then I fist bump the guys and say quick goodbyes as they head back in the direction that we came from.

Think of it this way: we just got a whole bunch of new chapters in one go without having to unlock anything. I recon the ones we've already read will now be added back daily until we're all caught up

The chapter where Ryker was freaking out about Kennedy being missing, the one where he sparred with Jeremiah and got info on Kennedy is missing and it seems like it should be right before this chapter . Also the previous chapters that were 25-30 are now misding

    8 - ElaraThe look on Ben’s face says a thousand words. Most of them are curse words directed at my warrior, and frankly, in this moment, I agree. I don’t want a mate until after I have taken over as the Alpha of this pack. I won’t be pushed aside by some guy who thinks his dick makes him better than me. The way he followed me around today, like I couldn’t look after myself, has had my temper sitting at a low simmer. I also have many males in our pack to convince that I am capable of leading, even though I am a woman. With a mate at my side, that is going to be hard to prove. I don’t want to rise to Dev’s challenge, but at the same time, it might be beneficial to put this little Beta in his place while adding another notch to the ‘I’m made for this job’ tallies.“What do you say, Beta? Up for the challenge?” I smile at his deadpan look. He’s fun to tease, at least. I turn and walk to one of the sparring rings marked in the grass without looking to see if he’s following.     7 - BenSomeone is going to die today. That mantra is on repeat in my head as I follow Elara and her team while my friends continue to chatter over the mindlink about her being my mate. My wolf has no issues staking his claim, and I know I will have some explaining to do when we get back, but I don’t care. I am focused and calm, being this close to her and with our body firmly planted between her and her warriors. I will deny it if anyone asks, though. Something about not being with a pack alters their personal scent to have an undertone of rot or decay.     5 - Ben“Well, as you know, Mother, I was busy preparing for our guests since I was given so much notice about my involvement with the project.” Oh good, she’s feisty.     4 - BenI’m not exactly sure why it takes weeks to plan a trip to a pack that is right around an hour away. There are so many formalities, my head is spinning. We had to negotiate protection, how we enter the pack, the times we could enter. Then there were the things none of us thought about. Alpha James and my dad had us scouring maps for places that rogues could potentially use to ambush us on our way and where all of the attacks have been reported.
