RYAN'S POV,

‘I should have gone with them.’ I told myself as I sat alone in my SUV, driving through the city traffic, looking for my little princess among the crowd.

The guilt of not being with her had been pounding in my head like a war drum since the moment I got the call from my security head. I trusted Mia's innocent face and thought she cared for my Ollie. But it was her plan since the first day she met came to our house—she was playing with our trust the whole time. She was an undercover, sent by my political rivals to kidnap my daughter, the light of my eyes.

They succeeded in taking my daughter away, and the fear of losing her was eating me alive.
