Chapter 10:Back to the astral realm

Serena sat in deep silence after Logan finished his tale. She was shocked beyond words. She didn't believe that her dad had gone through so much just to keep her safe. She looked into his eyes and knew instantly that he was telling the truth. She thought of her mom;her real mom. She couldn't imagine how the poor woman felt when she woke up and found her daughter gone.

"What happened when mom woke up?"she asked softly. Logan felt light-hearted when he heard Serena address Isabel as mom. It meant things were turning out well.

"She was hysterical when she woke up. She didn't eat for a week. She only wanted you back in her arms. It took me a long time to persuade her that it was the only way to protect you from the black witches"Logan answered truthfully.

"She finally relented and focused on taking care of your brother. She prayed to the moon goddess each day to keep you safe. I almost lost your mother after you were taken away".
