Chapter 13:Serena's Vision

Serena's face fell as she heard her brother call her Rena. That was the name Anderson always called her when he was trying to coax her into doing something. All the memories she had with her friends came rushing back and she felt a heavy lump in her throat. She missed them sorely. Her mind skipped a beat as she remembered Jayden, her first love. There were no tears in her eyes, but she felt so upset thinking about them.

Xavier noticed the change in her expression and he sighed. It had been like this for the past two weeks. Serena would be bubbling with excitement and mischief and the next minute, she would become so reserved and distant. He knew she still thought of her past life with the humans.
