Elora went to bed that night and like every other night, she dreamt of Roman. He was still trapped in his wolf form but he was begging her to wait for him and that he would come back to her.

She always looked forward to her night's sleep because it gave her the opportunity to see Roman's face again but this night, it made her cry. She missed him so badly and felt like she couldn't live without him but she was so lonely and she had no one to turn to.

Suddenly, this repeated dream started to feel like a nightmare. It started to feel like she was holding on to something that doesn't exist. She wanted nothing more to do with a dream that gives her false hope so she forced herself to wake up from the dream.

When she did, she was breathing heavily and sweating profusely despite the fan in her room blowing at the highest speed. Suddenly, she felt a presence in her room and when she turned to the window, she saw blue and green eyes peering at her in human form.
