The intensity of his gaze made heat crawl up my neck even though it was cold. “I need you to leave me alone” I spoke softly, the gentle buzz starting to move through my veins again.

"Leave if you must then, but I will find you, I swear. You cannot just leave me mid way and think that I would sit and take it. At least give me an explanation.” He looked desperate. Like he was ready to roll over on the floor if I demanded it.

“I don’t want you anymore” I said, although the words twisted something in my stomach. “Is that not enough?”

“Why? You did not seem to want to leave when you knew that I was a monster, or have you suddenly changed your mind about that? Do I disgust you so much that you want nothing to do with me Is it because I used violence in front of you? Because i swear… I will change, I will be more cautious”
