The tension in the car was palpable as we drove towards the designated meeting point. Jason seemed on edge, and I couldn't blame him. The amulet we were after held immense power, and we were so close to finally getting our hands on it. But there was a nagging feeling in the back of my mind that something wasn't right.

Jason's question broke the silence, and I focused on the road ahead before responding. "Yeah, it does feel strange that Tobi wants to meet us out in the middle of nowhere. But he's always been a bit unpredictable."

I glanced at Jason from the corner of my eye, trying to gauge his reaction. He had been distant lately, and I couldn't shake the feeling that he was keeping something from me. I trusted him, but there was always a part of him that remained mysterious.
