Chapter Nine

Keisha’s Pov

You know my parents died in an attack when they traveled, so my uncle took me in. The first few months were actually very nice, they were all nice to me and all of a sudden they all changed towards me and till now I have no idea why. They maltreated me, beat me up, took advantage of me and I was powerless.

On this faithful day I went out running into the woods because Due needed to be let out she had been in for so long because I wasn’t allowed to go out at all or talk to anyone so this day we went running because uncle went out and we were going to be back before he got back, but I and Due got carried away by the beautiful view and lost track of time. once we realized that we had lost track of time, we ran straight back home.

On reaching my room my uncle was there patiently waiting for me, as I climbed back into my bedroom from my window i was startled hearing his voice.
