Consequences

Helon wasted no more time in visiting the priest with a dozen guards, it was more of an attack than a visit. He asked them to wait for the signal and decided to meet the priest first.

“How may I help you Helon?” Ash asked facing him.

Helon stared at the old priest in front of him with a frown on his face, ‘Why did he have to interfere with his life just when it was about to be perfect’ he said to himself.

“When are you leaving this city?” Helon asked furious just by looking at him.

“When the gods ask me to leave, are you eager to see me go” Ash asked back staring directly at him with not a hint of fear in his eyes.

“You shouldn’t have come here in the first place” Helon said in more of a warning, his presence was a block to his path and he had to be cleared out.

“You don’t get to tell me what to do Helon, you are not the gods” Ash objected taking away his gaze from his face towards the crown on his head.

“King Helon to you, you will address me by proper title” Helon yelled at h
