59. Heal

Staring at her in pure surprise was the only thing I could do. Nothing made sense anymore these days, and it saddened me up. It made me confused as to why I felt like a stranger in the wolf pack.

“Are you my m-mum?” I asked, with my eyes staring at all of her features which were similar to mine. I had always wondered why I didn’t look like dad. Seemed like I took more of her.

“Yes, dear. I was the one who birthed you,” she answered, looking at me with a kind look in her eyes, without batting a lash. Her hands landed on my shoulders, soothing it sweetly. And at that instant, everything felt like a connection. I was drawn to this woman…
