Laura's POV
"Put your mind at rest Laura, the doctor said she'll be fine," Mark reassured, holding my hand in his and drawing me close to him so my head rests on his chest.
Amar has been out for fifteen hours and I haven't blinked since then.
We are still at loss to what happened to her in the room before her deafening scream rang through the house and we found her right in the middle of the room lying motionlessly on the floor.
"Would you like a cup of coffee?" he asked with a worried look on his stressed face. We are both stressed.
"No," I replied looking away from him and back to my daughter. Over the past few hours, she has unconsciously been fighting herself on the bed and the doctor had to use restraint to prevent her from injuring herself.
"Now am worried for you Laura, you haven't slept nor eaten anything since we got here. You're been unfair to me. How do you expect me to cope when you fall sick too and am left to look after you both?" He blurted with mixed feelings; anger and worry, and if not for how serious the situation of things is I would have thought of him to be cute. To me, he always looks cute whenever he's worried.
"Okay," I give in with a short laugh and turn to go with him. We haven't moved five feet when I heard a loud gasp, her gasp.
I turned back abruptly to see her eyes open, this time she wasn't fighting herself, she just laid still on the bed.
"Get the doctor mark!" I screamed, rushing to her side to make sure she's okay.
"Amar?" The question in my voice was clear, I need to be sure she's okay. Like an answer to my unasked question, she blinked her eyes twice then continues staring blankly.
The doctor rushed to her side to check the monitors for her vitals then he brought out his flashlight to check her pupils.
"She's now conscious and her vitals are normal. Try talking to her and see if she will respond." He suggested.
"Amar" I called again hoping she will respond but she didn't. Mark squeezed my hand in reassurance while I hold back my tears.
"Give her some time, she'll come around. Her vitals are normal for one who just got out of a temporary coma." He concluded, giving Marks' shoulder a little squeeze before exiting the room.
I fell asleep holding her hands tightly in mine.
Amaris's POV
Light.
Everywhere was illuminated but my vision is blurred.
"Amar." A distressed voice that sounded so distant called my name but I couldn't make out the face of whom it was. I blinked twice in a weak attempt to clear my blurry vision and even that little action was forced, my whole body felt paralyzed.
Two figures joined the first one and they all stood before me but I could not tell them apart, all I could see was their body outline, I could hear them speak but those words I heard sounds like gibberish, nothing they say makes sense, I continued to listen till I couldn't keep my drowsy eyes open again then my vision went blank.
I passed out.
*******
"Urgh!" I made a croaky sound.
The light made my eyes hurt and I instinctively shut them back almost immediately then I tried again, opening it back slowly so my pupils could regulate the amount of light entering the eyes.
My vision looks clearer now. This place is not as illuminated as I first thought, just that everything in here is painted white, like an... Hospital? the question in my head sounded clear.
'Am I really in a hospital? In the real world or it brought me here too? Wasn't I in the dark a while ago, how did I get here?" Unanswered questions kept on surfacing in my mind. I couldn't figure out what place I am in or what sick game it has decided to play with me, I tried moving and that was when I realized I was lying in bed. 'Really? a bed?'
I tried sitting up, an action I immediately regretted when a jabbing headache crashed on my temples, making my head spin.
"Arghh!" I cried out loud, loud enough to startle my sleeping mom whom I hadn't realized was here until she sprang up from the seat beside me.
"Amaris, you're awake? What's wrong with you? Just stay put darling while I go get the doctor." She said worriedly, rushing out of the room in distress. Her face looks like that of someone who hasn't slept for days.
'For days?' I found myself repeating the word over and over again.
Guess this is reality. I'm no longer trapped in the darkness.
The amount of power radiating off the king as he stands staring out the window would have caused a normal wolf to be rolling on the floor, but being the beta, Russell's wolf is a quarter strong as the alpha's wolf allowing him to withstand the rage of pour the king is generating."Tell me, Russell, how did you let this happen!" Alpha mozerus slammed his palm on the wall and the whole building felt the force of his anger."His wolf was in control, and he ran out before I could stop him," Russell defend quickly with his head bowed."... Son," he called through their personal link but couldn't reach him, it seems like an impenetrable barrier is keeping him out and this made him more furious."Don't just stand there Russell, dispatch the warriors, rangers, anyone, I don't care as long as Lucian gets back home safe, just find me my son! Do your job!..." He yelled."Yes, Alpha," he replied."Seven rangers and eight warriors should meet me on the training ground. NOW!" He mind-linked and tur
The first blood drawn was from my back. The rogue dig it's filthy claws in my cloth and slashed them across my skin while I was distracted fending of the rest. I stiffened a scream as it's claws tore open my skin, I turned around swiftly, digged into its chest and ripped out it's heart. They only kept on increasing the more I kill. I lost contact with my wolf and start to loose my energy gradually which is really strange, my wounds are refusing to heal. By the time I killed the fifteenth wolf I could barely maintain my stance. I fell to the floor on one knee, barely holding up with dizziness setting in fast from blood loss while the rest of the wolfs took the opportunity and launched another attack to finish me off completely. A surprising blinding light shine through the forest and the atmosphere suddenly become disturbed. Cloud rumbles with great dissatisfaction while it darkens with the speed of light, the air around thickened while piles of dead leafs rose from the floor and circ
Lucian's POV With feet's barely touching the forest ground, Adal held on tightly to our pale, fragile, bleeding mate whose eyes remained closed with a body temperature that could set a house on fire. The heat bore through my clothes and I could only imagine the amount of pain she's going through at the moment. A deep pang of conscience washed over me immediately- this could have been averted if I wasn't a blockhead. She's burning with the highest fever I ever witnessed. The highest temperature I saw was during the heat of a recently mated female wolf whose mate wasn't around to soothe the pain of his beloved, but this, it's is nothing compared to anything I ever seen. My hands had turned red by the time we reached the deepest part of the forest but Adal won't let go of her . I tried talking him into giving back control but he wouldn't listing. He became feral and snapped at me when I asked the third time. He suddenly came to a standstill in the middle of nowhere, sniffing the air an

This book is not a typical werewolf romance book. There will be romance but I won't go deep into it. I write this book with a new idea. I wanted to combine the werewolves, the witches and the spiritual realm together, and I can't achieve this with your help. I thank you all for the time you take to read the chapters I update and most importantly, I'll like to request something of you; - I will appreciate it if you will tell me how you feel about this book, - Things you'll like me to include; your suggestions are highly welcome. - Reviews are also welcomed. I need to know how my readers feel and the things they hope to come across. Thanks in advance. 💞 Manieli ❤️
"Lucian, something is wrong with mate," Adal said with a tone of urgency, but Ignore him."Lucian!" He called again."You're just being paranoid, okay! She will be fine. She's not a kid that can't take care of herself so please, let me focus on what I'm being taught in class!" I shunned, and he growled angrily at me.I haven't seen her since she ran out of the dining hall and Adal has been pacing restlessly in my mind, urging me to go search for her."Okay. I'm sorry," I apologized and he stopped growling. "She is a full-grown adult, I'm sure she can ta....."I was in the middle of trying to make Adal reason with me when I felt a slight change in the air.I sensed an unknown energy bubbling in the air. All the supernaturals in the classroom felt it too and we all looked at each other questioningly."What's
