The sun was setting when they saw flickers of light just nearby. It could be a small town so they decided to walk up ahead. They weren't wrong, it was really a town full of normal people and they seemed to not be bothered by their presence.
To find a place for the night, they asked one of the stalls where they can lodge in. The kind vendor then told them the direction to where the place was but there was a problem. Money. They don't seem to know what money is.
"Did Saiva told any of you about money?" Amorivia asked. And when they shake their heads side to side, she was not surprised at all. "Okay, money is something you exchange for something."
"Oh!" They all nodded, like a student who lies about finally figuring out how the solution ends up finding x because it will take too long for another thorough explanation. She face palm, groaning.
"Okay, it could be a coin or some kind of paper or something. Maybe we should ask them what theirs look like."
Kitto woke up with a severe headache and the feeling of wanting to throw up so bad. His head dang hurts so much and he groans in dizziness. Slowly, he opened his eyes and see Amrak still sleeping. How did they end up in their room? What happened? All he can remember was going out and meeting a strange man. Some moments after, he hears the door open. Selena and Amorivia came in holding a tray. He waited for Arwha but she never came in. Maybe she was still upset with how he acted the other night at Saiva's. "Why did you two drink so much?" Amorivia asked while assisting him to sit up. "Do you remember what happened?" "No. All I remember was a man telling us how to drink." He didn't know this is how weak he'd get. H
Because of the young men's hangover, they decided to stay another night in that Inn. Good thing their money still made it but it can't make them stay for a third night and they don't want to be behind their days. "You two are a pain, wasting our money to stay another night," Selena glares at the men, putting down the tray she has in her hands. "You're still upset with me?" Amrak asked, avoiding eye contact with the elf. When he hears her giggling, he looked up only to see a fake smile. Oh he knows he was dead when she started reaching her hand to slap slightly his cheek. "I c-can tell you are furious." "Oh! I am so glad you know!" she growled, her eyes wide burning with fire. Amorivia laughed softly hearing the two's c
They reached the city some time after the sun had set. To the least they expected, the city was still full of people. Usually when dusk comes and stars starts to show up, no creature would roam anywhere. But this city was busy. Humans, elves, half-humans, they were all together, harmonizing peacefully. As they go explore the city further, they see fountains and carriage. They did not even know people rides the horse until they had seen one."Wow, are we still in our worlds? The city is still awake like it is morning!" Amrak was sure blown, jaw dropping every now and then when he sees something new to him."Let's check the Atlas if we are close."They opened their Atlas and saw they were steps closer. They followed it and e
"Ano sa... aren't you supposed to be with someone?" he asked her, holding the handles of a wheelchair, starting to push the lady he doesn't know. "Kind of you to do it when I can go up on my own!" He chuckled at how the lady sassed. Obviously, she needed a little push up on this steep street. While pushing they both look up at the stars and thought the sky is awake. And then a shooting star passed by. "Oh! Shooting star!" she yelled, pointing at it. When he looked up, he sees none but the twinkling stars. At the top, he let go of her wheelchair. The lady then thanked him for helping as she makes her way ahead to where he was going to. He did not bother telling
In the middle of the day, they had someone knocking on their door. When they opened, they were surprise to see their enemy. Menna was surprised too, to see the Angel grow much taller, much older? "Oh!" Menna gasped, pointing at Nisemono, eyes wide and sparkling. "You aged!" "Huh?" "You aged!" "I don't remember you." A thought struck Menna real fast as Nisemono enters the room walking pass her and towards Amorivia. She turn around and saw him flying away with the lady. Unable to move, she just stares up above the sky. Oh that... it must be The Angel's doing. It's his new trick. "Tch! How dare he come here every time
It has been almost a year since the past Kitto and Arwha met under the stars. The days were bright to them. The sun is always smiling and so are they. It seems unending. "Why don't we go see a movie today?" he suggested while pushing her wheelchair. "I heard there is a new one. The one you wanted to watch so bad." "Oh! I forgot it was today!" she gaze up to give him a smile. "Let's go watch it!" While he was lining up to get their tickets, she waited at a table. She looked around, forgotten how it feels to be alone. Now it is kind of scary and it's making her feel unease. Looking back again at him, she saw a group of people approached him, her face went dull. They were laughing and this girl she has never seen has wrap
When Amrak and Selena found the lady she was just laying on the ground. At first they thought she was dead because she would not wake up no matter what. But when the elf check her, she still has her pulse. "We need to get her back at the house. That damn Nisemono might have done to her what he has done to the Lost Boy," Selena said, her hand in a clenched fist, eyes with blaze. Back at the roofless house, they lay the lady on the floor. Arwha asked what happened and they told them how she found her. "He left her there?" Kitto asked, brows knitted. "That bastard is indeed full of tricks!" "Wait, did you two
When Amorivia woke up, she didn't tell any one what happened to her in that meadow. She hates her self for letting her guard down but what can she do? Just after the kiss Nisemono told her it was the only way and she fully lost her consciousness. "Are you really okay? You have been just looking down, lifeless." "Yes, I am fine. I'm just a little occupied right now." "Did nothing really happen? You just fell asleep there?" She glances to both ladies, flashing a smile. "I am all good. And since we have the orbs, I am sure the Lost Boy must be awake now." "Finally! Someone to save us from our next orb!" While the others wer
