CHAPTER THIRTY

As George and Catherine arrived home, they settled into the cozy living room, basking in each other's company. Just then, Lisa appeared, announcing that she had prepared dinner.

George mockingly explained that they had already eaten dinner at a fancy restaurant and that they didn’t need her food. Disappointed, Lisa's expression turned to frustration as she stormed out of the living room, feeling dejected that her efforts had gone to waste.

Unbeknownst to George and Catherine, Lisa lingered outside the living room, eavesdropping on their conversation because She overheard them discussing the arrest of the guy, and her curiosity piqued as she listened intently to their hushed conversation.

After George and Catherine finished talking, they made their way to their room, and Lisa swiftly darted back to her own room, hoping to avoid being caught eavesdropping.

She paced back and forth in her room, her heart pounding with determination. She picked up her phone and dialed George's p.a who is n
