CHAPTER TWENTY SIX

Lisa took a deep breath, trying to keep her cool. She was tired of Catherine's constant issues and drama, but she didn't want to escalate the situation further.

"Look, Catherine, I understand that George asked me to obey you, but I need some space right now. I can't handle your yelling and accusations." She said gently

Catherine's face turned red with anger, her voice rising even louder.

"You can't just ignore me like this! Are you okay!" She yelled angrily

Lisa realized that trying to reason with Catherine at that moment might not be productive. She decided to prioritize her own well-being and mental health.

"I'm sorry, Catherine, but I need some time alone. I'll be back later when I feel like having this conversation with you ."

Without waiting for a response, Lisa walked out of the house, leaving Catherine behind. She knew that taking a break from the situation was the best way to prevent further conflict.
