Once we had escaped Luna Diane’s castle like home, the rest of my mission had gone off without a hitch. I had delivered the child to the priestesses and gotten answers about breaking my mate bond. Unfortunately, the answers weren’t ones I had wanted. The priestesses had informed me the only way to break a mating bond once it was sealed, was for one of us to die. There was a bright side to the information though. The mate bond could be broken by even a momentary death, which meant that if I found a way to be revived I could solve both of my problems. I wouldn’t be impacted by the Alpha’s death if I were the one to die and be revived.
