“Aurora. To what do we owe the pleasure?” I grinned at the older she-wolf standing on my porch.
“This isn’t a social call Daniel.” She frowned. “Can I come in?”
Stepping back, I motioned for her to come inside. I had known Aurora since my days in the guild. She had been my handler as well as my daughter’s. We had been close enough that she attended my wedding to Abigail. One of the few members of the guild that I maintained contact with once I retired.
