Renae POV
I hear Lettie and Lee talking to someone. The conversation is calm, and I hear another woman's voice. Who is she talking to? I try to listen. There is a lot of commotion, and I am not sure where it is coming from. I wish I could feel my legs, but there is not a lot I can feel right now. I cannot move. I hope none of this is permanent damage.
“Hey, Tatina is here; she will get us all out soon. She is going to get the key or some explosives. She said to stay away from the door,” Lettie says to me.
“Good. I am ready to get the hell out of here, girls,” I whisper to her. My voice is still hoarse, and my throat hurts.

Lester POVI leave the authority building; I need to get home to Renae as quickly as possible. I do not want her stressed out worrying about me when she should only be concentrating on her own recovery. I am still in shock over Samuel and Tara, but too many people are saying it is true now. I awake in the middle of the night. I cannot sleep. Draco is lying in the bed beside me and sleeping so sound. I have not seen him sleep this sound in a very long time. He deserves the sleep. Draco POVI awake early so I can get everything together before Tatina gets out of bed. I get out of bed quietly, so I do not wake her. I turn on the bathroom light to dress.
